Breathing, Trust and Gratitude

I do not wish to hide the fact that I had wanted to correct my nose since childhood. However, throughout my life, I always gave priority to other things and to other people. After 14 IVF procedures, I became a mother. For 21 years, I cared for an elderly person. I studied, remained socially active in many areas, and people have always been close to my heart. I consistently placed my own needs last.

Over the years, my nose became an increasing challenge — not only aesthetically, but above all functionally. I began experiencing breathing difficulties and would wake up at night gasping for air. During one of my visits to an ear, nose, and throat specialist, I first came across the name of Prof. Robotti. A specialist friend told me at the time: “I know who could help you best, but I also know you will not go to him.” Even then, I knew that my nose represented a significant challenge for surgeons.

I researched his work and became determined to seek out the very best in this field. In 2023, I first made contact with Prof. Robotti. My initial examination and nasal imaging took place in November 2024. From the very first meeting, I had the feeling that I was dealing with a top expert. As a person, he is warm; as a surgeon, exceptionally skilled; and in his words, realistic and sincere.

While waiting to meet him, I spoke with patients in the waiting room who had undergone multiple unsuccessful surgeries and were now awaiting reconstructive procedures with him. Every single one of them spoke highly of him. After meeting him myself, I completely understood why. I, too, felt that I had come to the best possible place.

We met several times, and each time I received further confirmation that I could trust him completely.

At the end of 2025, he performed my surgery. I was his first international patient at his live course. I felt honored that he gave me this opportunity. Despite operating under cameras and the attentive eyes of specialists from all over the world, he took the time and gave me his full attention. He came to see me immediately after the surgery. From the satisfied expression on his face, I could tell that he had once again performed outstanding work.

I do not know if he will ever fully realize how deeply grateful I am and how highly I esteem him.

The postoperative protocol is clear, precise, and professional. His staff are highly qualified, yet at the same time exceptionally warm and supportive. A truly outstanding team.

The greatest difference? I was able to breathe through my nose from the very first day after surgery.
As for the aesthetic result… it is not “Hollywood-like” — and that is the most beautiful part. I never showed him a photograph of a model or a celebrity. That was never what I was looking for. My nose is now truly mine. Perfectly in harmony with my facial proportions. Straight. Natural. Beautiful. Truly beautiful.
I could never have imagined such a balance between functionality and aesthetics.

It is true that I devoted most of my life to caring for others. For my almost 49th birthday, however, I was the one who received the greatest care, attention, and professional dedication.
