Breathing Improved, but Cosmetic Results Were Very Disappointing

I had two rhinoplasties with Dr Saeed, one in 2020 and a revision in 2022. My natural nose was strong and ethnic but deviated. I asked for it to be straightened, to stop it from dropping when I smiled, and for my breathing to improve. I wanted a natural result. In his letter to my GP he even noted my “tip height was good,” yet in surgery he dramatically raised it.
After two operations my nose was very high and pointy, which looked completely unnatural. I was compared to Michael Jackson, told it looked fake, asked if I had gone to Turkey for surgery, and even children pointed it out. This left me depressed, anxious, and very self-conscious.
Before my revision, while I was already in a hospital gown, I asked him again to please make my nose natural with a rounder tip. His response was, “You should go somewhere else then.” Hearing that just before surgery made me feel powerless, but I felt I had no choice.
To his credit, Dr Saeed did the second surgery free of charge and he did improve my breathing, which I appreciate. However, the cosmetic result was the opposite of what I asked for. My philtrum became longer, the natural length of my primary nose was lost, and my proportions were thrown off. I often woke up panicked, touching my nose and feeling how short it was, even having nightmares about it being cut off.
Eventually, I paid for a further revision abroad. The difference speaks for itself — the result is soft, natural, and in harmony with my face, which is what I wanted all along. You can even see in my skin and overall appearance how much healthier I became once it was corrected.
In my view, Dr Saeed has a very narrow, tunnel-vision idea of what he considers beautiful. That style might suit some patients, but it did not suit me and it did not look natural. While I am grateful he tried to help me, I would advise anyone considering him to be absolutely certain that his aesthetic style matches their own goals, because if not the outcome can be both disappointing and costly.
