WORTH IT
Open Rhinoplasty in April ‘22. Was very nervous before surgery. I’d put off the procedure with other doctors twice before. Had been wanting surgery for over 20 years but scared I’d be unhappy with results. At the end of the day it’s your face and I was a wreck for months as the surgery day approached. Nearly 18 month on, I remain really happy with my new nose. My nose and nostrils are not perfectly symmetrical but that does not bother me at all. The hook and bulbous tip are now completely gone which was my main concern. Could not be happier with my outcome.

I am currently 3 months post surgery and feeling great. I have some mild swelling in the tip and it still feels a little numb to the touch. Still thrilled with my results. Looking forward to seeing how my tip continues to refine over the coming 12 to 18 months.

Wow -‘a beautiful nose!
ORIGINAL POST
Rhinoplasty
I’ve been contemplating a Rhinoplasty for over 25 years. After years of research and feeling unsure about proceeding , I finally felt confident to go ahead after meeting with Mr Callan. Peter and his team are so experienced and professional. I felt very safe from beginning to end and I am thrilled with my natural results. I can also breathe so much better after he fixed my deviated septum. My nose is much straighter and now functions as it should. I only wish I had done it sooner! My after photos are taken between 8 and 12 weeks post surgery.

Wow looks super!!!
Looks amazing!
Did you find during early stages of healing that both nostrils were different? Or has yours been even since you’ve had the cast off

Hi! My nostrils have always been a little uneven, both before and after surgery. It’s probably more noticeable post surgery because my nose is now more upturned. I really don’t notice the uneven nostrils anymore because I’m thrilled to have my hook nose gone and a less bulbous tip. They were my goals for surgery. Have you had surgery yet?
Yes I did. I’m 6 weeks post op and finding it difficult to accept my new face. My nose made a big difference
That’s tough, the change can be hard initially! I just focussed on what I liked about my new nose and how much I disliked my original nose. I can deal with imperfection as I wanted improvement. Good luck with your recovery, I hope you can accept your new nose.
