Uses a Template Nose for All Surgeries
I had my rhinoplasty by dr arafat 2 years ago. The goals of the procedure were to
1. straighten the nose
2. remove the hump
3. reduce the size
4. upturn the nose so my protuding upper lip can be released and my smile shows the teeth again.
5. reduce the Alar
What i got instead
Big high radix bulbous disporpotionate droopy nose
Procedure by dr arafat increased the radix of my naturally low radix nose which alienates my nose from my face and cheeks. It looks like the nose is originating from forehead and is not blended with face. it looks like my face is attached to a nose, not that my face has a nose.
My alar were huge and are still huge and disporpotionate
The septum cartilage of my nose is extremely bumpy and rough. It has bumps on my left side.
Hump in my nose was manufactured to justify the high radix. I have no idea about Arafat's obsession with high radix? just keep it natural. It will preserve the dorsal strucutre and also give room to reduce the size. But increasing the radix left you with very little to play to achieve the five objectives. You messed up with my whole nose to fit your high radix nose template.
The procedure only achieved 30% of objectives because Arafat has a template for all noses with no sense of aesthetics. I suggest him to look at angle of cheeks to plan the bridge and may be get training from turkish or iranian surgeon.
I'll be going for revision with anoter doctor soon.

He never admits to any fault and he will instead blame your cartilage, your body , the sun, the moon, anything apart from himself .
I have seen a document recently which shows that he was posing as a HarleyStreet doctor.
As far as I know he is being investigated by the GMC for fraud
Choose wisely because if you are not happy wirh the outcome this man will not be there for you .

I am writing this review 3 months post surgery. I've a botched crooked nose with minimal improvement. He didn't even share morphs and table pics from top view.
We agreed on making changes to alar, bridge and making nose proportionate.
Results are
1. He shaved my nose bridge more on a side making it look bent on other side. So i have a crooked nose from front view.
2. He didn't even touch alar or tip, so i am disappointed of having same nose spreading all over face
3. I showed him a 55 page pdf of what i wanted. Made it clear that i want to reduce bridge, increase philtrum and lip lift, there's zero changes to that.
4. The only change he did was improving SHAPE of my nose from sides. He didn't reduce the projection and convex that could make it proportionate with cheeks.
5. He increased the radix that made my eyes hollow and nose looks alienated rom cheeks. He ignored the convex of face when planning radix.
Overall, I'd say i wasted 350k with botched results. Even my close ones didn't even notice any difference. Our consultancy discussion was so hasty, he pushed to operation in hurry. I'd suggest readers to get it done from turkey, if you're looking for safer, visually aesthetic, transparent results.
Attitude? He didn't share my morphs and table picture top view even after asking twice because he knows he has botched my nose from front. He didn't bother to have an in-person appointment with me post-operation. I only saw him before surgery for 30 mins doing consultation, not even after surgery or to remove stitches. He acts like he's a celebrity, definitely not humble. In short his consultation, table manners, results and post-operation support is negligible
