Do Not Go to Dr Tim Edwards.
When I went in, they were professional, spent time with me, and explained everything thoroughly. They were super friendly. My nose wasn’t in bad shape before, but he completely messed it up.
On the day of surgery, there was confusion about the payment. I had emailed Michelle to confirm if I was paid up, and she said yes. The breakdown of costs was confusing, and it turned out I wasn’t fully paid, but I fixed it within 20 minutes. The miscommunication happened because there are two separate departments handling payments, which is super confusing.
He almost canceled my surgery because of the payment issue. I asked him to wait, saying I could wire the money over in 15 minutes since Michelle had assured me I was fully paid. The situation was confusing because of the separate payment sections. The staff downstairs were lovely, though.
I only wanted a slight adjustment to my nose and to improve my breathing a bit. I sent in ideal photos but made it clear that I understood if they weren't achievable. My priority was better nasal breathing and addressing a small bump.
My aftercare was terrible. When I woke up, he barely acknowledged me, I went home and my cast was very loose. I messaged Michelle about it, asking if I should come back the next day, but she said it was fine. They should have got me in straight away. should have checked the cast; it's part of their duty of care. But she insisted there was no need to come in.
At my first follow-up, I had questions, but he only saw me for 2 minutes before rushing off. It felt like he was too busy to care, and it was very unprofessional. I developed anxiety about driving all the way from Victor for the follow-up because it seemed clear that he had my money and they both didn’t care anymore. So, we started doing FaceTime calls. He kept saying it was just swelling and that it would be fine, but I knew that wasn’t true.
Michelle, his PA, stopped replying to me. They had my money so who cares about me right?
I’ve shown my nose to two surgeons, and they both confirmed that he removed too much cartilage and bone. Now, I need to have a piece of my rib removed to fix it. He botched the surgery.
If he weren’t a multimillionaire, I would sue him, but I don’t have the energy or the resources to fight, especially after losing both of my parents to cancer. I should have listened to my mum when she said I was beautiful enough.
Michelle and Tim, what you’re doing to people will catch up to you. Yes, I kept making appointments and canceling them because of my anxiety, you charged me tens of thousands of dollars and treated me poorly. You ignored my emails, didn’t check my cast, and made me anxious to even show up. But I know it wasn’t right to not show up without notifying you. I’m better than that, and I should have risen above it.
Drive your fancy cars and let money rule your world.
I forgive you how you treated me for my own sanity. you reap what you sow. Karma doesn’t always happen immediately, but it will catch up to you when you least expect it.
To all the girls out there, don’t get cosmetic surgery. Instagram and all the programming we’ve been exposed to can make you feel otherwise, but you’re beautiful the way you are, just as God made you. After I get my nose fixed, I’ll never go through surgery like this again. And don’t go to Tim Edwards. I say this to protect you.
