Botched, Collapsed Nose, Can’t Breathe (2+ Years Post Op)
I’ve been waiting to write this review in case things improved but they only got worse.
Dr Celik ruined my nose and my breathing. I asked for a small cute nose, and showed some pictures of WolfieCindy, Chantel Jeffries etc, as my inspiration. He said it was doable and he didn’t want to make it a Barbie nose. So I asked him to do a “natural looking Barbie nose”.
Instead of maintaining the structural integrity of my nose, he completely botched it. He made the tip extremely pointy and long like Pinocchio (even though I specifically asked for a short tip), he made it look super pinched at the tip by carving out the sides, which I never asked for (I liked my front profile, I just didn’t like my side profile), and he actually caused a nasal valve collapse.
The nasal valve collapse happened because he took so much cartilage from the sides of my nose, that my lower nostrils no longer have ANY support whatsoever, and collapse inwards when I try to breathe.
I had a deviated septum which he claimed to have fixed during surgery, but my breathing now is actually 100x worse than before I saw him. I used to be a nose breather and Dr Celik has forced me to become a mouth breather, due to my nasal collapse. Not only does it look ugly, but it’s ruined functionally too.
My nose used to have a round tip which I loved, and the nostrils blended seamlessly into the tip. Now, I have a hard ball on the tip that sticks out from the rest of the nose, harsh lines down the sides, and my nostrils look permanently flared because he carved them out weirdly, which I never asked for. I loved my original tip and he’s completely ruined it.
Yet another issue is it’s not even symmetrical, which is the bare minimum I’d expect. One side is smooth and the other has a hard bump of cartilage that sticks out of the side, making my front profile look crooked. My nose was completely straight and symmetrical before.
I cannot even look at photos of my nose from the underneath, it’s so awful and pointed/pinched. It never looked like that, it was round and blended originally. Now from the bottom (and side), have this awful witch nose.
He also decided to get rid of the bone surrounding my nose, where my UNDEREYES are. I never asked for this, and this has made my face cave in, creating a massive amount of hollowness around my eyes, making it look like I have permanent eyebags. I’ll now need to pay for eye filler to fix this. My nose used to blend into my face, but because he decided to get rid of this bone around my undereye area, my nose just sticks out of my face and doesn’t appear harmonious with the rest of my face anymore. (For this, I’ve added a photo circling which areas I’m talking about as it’s hard to explain).
I miss my old nose, and I wish I never did this. I regret it every single day of my life, Dr Celik ruined my face in more ways than one.
It’s been over 2 years and I still have to wear a nostril retainer every single night to breathe. If I don’t wear it, I cannot breathe at night. This retainer was given for the first couple of weeks post op. Little did I know I’d have to wear it for the rest of my life because of his mistakes. My nose is so collapsed that I need the retainer in to breathe.
Not only does my nose no longer function normally but it looks so ugly and fake.
I’d have to get some major reconstructive surgery to fix all this, and it’s not even 1 issue, it’s many things he did badly. I wish I never went to him.
