I am extremely disappointed and, honestly, heartbroken with my experience.
I waited nearly three years before writing this review, hoping that what I was seeing was just swelling and that the results would improve over time. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.
This was my second rhinoplasty, and I came into the process much more prepared than the first time. I brought clear, detailed photos and communicated exactly what I was hoping to achieve. I had done extensive research and chose this surgeon based on a strong reputation, even paying significantly more and traveling to Chicago because I believed I was in the best hands.
The outcome, however, is nothing like what I asked for.
My nose is now much larger than before—thin at the top but wide through the lower portion, almost like an inverted tent. It feels thick, uneven, and disproportionate to my face. Now it is denting across the bridge of my nose, and to make matters worse, I am uneven, as you can see in the pics. Every time I look in the mirror, I feel upset.
In addition, rib cartilage was harvested for the procedure, and I continue to experience discomfort in that area. I was also left with a noticeable, uneven buildup of cartilage at the donor/storage site (back of my head), which feels bumpy and distressing to the touch.
What has made this experience even more difficult is how my concerns were handled. When I raised questions, I felt dismissed rather than heard. I had previously been warned by another doctor about the risk of this exact outcome, and unfortunately, those concerns were not taken seriously.
I am now faced with the reality of needing a third revision surgery, which is emotionally and financially exhausting.
I strongly encourage others to do thorough research, seek multiple opinions, and make sure they feel truly heard and understood before moving forward. I would not make the same choice again.

Since posting my reviews, Dr. [Name]’s office reached out to me and had me fly in to see him regarding my nose.
At that appointment, he told me that nearly four years after my surgery, the issue I was seeing was swelling and that I needed an injection to bring the swelling down. I do not believe I should still be experiencing this degree of swelling almost four years after surgery. Nevertheless, I agreed to the injection. It made no noticeable difference.
What was especially concerning was how much of the conversation focused on my review rather than the condition of my nose. He walked into the room with my review and immediately asked why I had written a negative review and asked me to take it down.
About a month later, we had another call. One of the first things he asked was why my review was still up. Approximately another month later, during a third conversation, he again asked me about removing the review.
I made my position very clear: I will not remove an honest review while my nose remains unfixed, and I have asked for my money back.
During one of these conversations, he told me that I had to admit my nose looks better now than it did before surgery. I found that comment incredibly upsetting given the issues I am dealing with and the visible condition of my nose.
Following the injection, I now have what appears to be a piece of cartilage that is visibly displaced or folded over my nose, with a noticeable outline that can be seen through the skin.
He has offered to operate on my nose again at no charge, but has refused my request for a refund. I am not comfortable allowing the surgeon whom I believe caused the damage to my nose to operate on my face a second time.
I am sharing this update because I believe prospective patients deserve to know about my experience. This has been an extremely difficult situation, and after nearly four years, I am still dealing with the results of this surgery.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this surgeon. Please be careful, do your research, and make an informed decision before choosing who you trust with your face.
