I couldn't have found a better surgeon than Dr. Reish!

I have been looking into rhinoplasty for the past ten years and I was super hesitant (I’ve watched several surgeries - pls don’t do that). I started keeping track of a few doctors and Dr. Reish was literally the only surgeon I could find who had consistently positive results with hundreds of five star reviews. I’m a huge review person so seeing so many amazing testimonials really sold me. We set up a virtual consultation that was amazing. It took Dr. Reish all of five seconds to take a look at my angles and address the issues that were bothering me. Also noted, it’s rare to meet a doctor (much less a surgeon) who is as humble, patient and reassuring as Dr. Reish. I was astounded with his honestly and intelligence.
Melissa was awesome and helped me coordinate payments, scheduling and any additional questions. Dr. Reish gave me his number which made me feel SO comfortable (I’m a really nervous person). I could send reference photos and ask questions as needed; he never failed to reassure me and make me feel heard.
Pre op appointment was about a month from surgery and Dr. Reish addressed my further questions, went over do’s and dont’s & my surgery again in detail. I scheduled my clearance appointments right after.
Day of surgery I was SO NERVOUS. The thought of having the procedure was really daunting but his entire team was incredibly suppprtove, patient and reassuring so I felt so much better. I had my partner on FaceTime and Angelica and Brianna were sure to go over the post op instructions with her as well over the phone - super helpful. I met Dr. Reish in person before my procedure as well as my wonderful anesthesiologist, Dr. Fruedman. Dr. Fruedman called me the day before surgery to go over everything and anesthesia in detail - I felt so safe. I also met Stella, who was super kind and helped me walk back into the surgical room and prepare me for my procedure. Dr. Fruedman explained what he was doing anesthesia wise and when. We chatted about neuroscience and my tattoos so falling asleep was a breeze; I felt like I was talking to a friend.
When I woke up, Angelica and Brianna were there by my side to offer fluids and entertain my chatter lol. They were super cool and made me laugh. They wheeled me out to my partner who was waiting with an Uber and it was smooth from there. The first day was hard but I spit out as much blood as I could to prevent vomiting and took the prescribed meds. By day 3 I was breathing through my nose, day five I could taste and smell again. I had my splint and stitch removed with Rachel who is an absolute angel and helped wiped my tears lol (it hurts a lil). I had a huge list of questions to ask her and she addressed all of them with confidence and ease; also let me know I could reach out anytime after. I’m now five weeks post op and couldn’t be more pleased. My nose is still swollen (which is crazy bc it’s already much tinier and so cute). If you are considering rhinoplasty, please go to Dr. Reish; I’m so astounded by the professionalism and reassurance I received by him and his entire team. It’s SO worth it.
