Hi again! It’s been a little over a year since my rhinoplasty and everyday I love my nose more! When I went in for my year check up, Dr. mentioned there still being a bit of water retention at the top of my nose which k have noticed. It’s a little swollen still but it doesn’t bug me. If I wear the tape overnight on my nose it relives the swelling and makes my nose cute and smaller haha. But overall extremely happy still and just looking forward to the swelling to continue to go down. He said it can take up to three years for the very tip of the nose swelling to go away. Patience is key :)

Bruising on my face is totally gone finally!! My breathing is slowly improving. I’m still stuffy some days. I can blow my nose to help clear it out now. I don’t use a tissue to blow - I just blow and wipe after because I don’t want to touch my nose and apply pressure to the outside. I’m still trying to sleep inclined and not let my nose touch the pillow. If I lay on my side I notice more swelling in the morning which goes away by the afternoon. I’m also still taping at nights. So obsessed with my nose though. The front of my nose looks a little big which is normal though from all the swelling. Such a patience tester! But so worth it.

Cast removal day

I got my cast removed today and I’m SO happy with results ???? Even though my nose and entire face (mostly my cheeks) are swollen, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. It’s perfect and exactly what I wanted and more. I still can’t breathe out of my nose as expected. My goodness though...when they said getting the stitches removed from the outside of my nostrils hurt - they meant it. The most painful thing I’ve experienced in a long time. It’s been the only hard part about the whole experience. Mine hurt extra because I had dried blood near my stitches! So make sure to clean your nose well. Anyways! I’ll continue to post as time goes by. :)

Girl your nose looks amazing already! Mine looked terrible when I just got it taken off and I freaked out a bit but don’t worry at all it’s all swelling. So happy for you it’s just a waiting game now!
Omg it's totally so silken from the front view!! The take definitely made it look cuter lol but thank you so much! Definitely a patience tester and I have zero lol!!
It looks good!! Congrats! I'm also barely starting to do my research to hopefully get this done by the end of the year. Do you mind me asking how much was the total? Thank you
It was $10,500 :) That included all costs like hospital, surgery, anesthesiologist, etc!
It looks amazing! How many days until they took the nose cast off?
Thank you so much! I got my cast off on day 5 post op
Looks great! How is your breathing and how is the bruising?
Thank you :) I will post a three week update tomorrow!
But to quickly answer, bruising is gone and breathing is getting better every day!
