Helloooo so I have been wanting to start a review for like a month now & I obviously procrastinated haha, I just went through surgery yesterday and so far I’m feeling pretty ok. I’ve been wanting this for as long as I can remember (9 years now), and as of this moment I don’t regret a single thing. I really encourage anyone that wants to do this to go through with it. When it comes down to it, all that really matters is how you feel in your own skin. So listen to yourself, listen to what you want, and do whatever will make you feel beautiful both inside and out. Anyways, getting into the actual stuff...
The days leading up to surgery were pretty nerve racking but it didn’t reeeally hit me until the morning of. I think that depends on the person, I tend to not think about things until it gets suuuuper close and then I start to freak out. Like during the IV I was like “wait wait wait hold on this is happening right now?” Lol
I was also sick the days leading up and I called in to ask if it’s safe to go under anesthesia with a sore throat and minimal coughing. I had to wait until I got to the hospital for the anesthesiologist to check me and make sure I was healthy enough to go under. Luckily, a sore throat wasn’t bad enough to reschedule surgery although it definitely did get worse after :) haha but besides that, I’m here if anyone has any questions for how I felt/what I did to prepare before surgery. One of the main reasons I am doing this is because people helped me out a lot on here when I was going through the nervous jitters, and I’d love to help in any way now that I can. I will upload before and after pics soon!

Before pics

Here are some before pics! Things I didn’t like: the droopiness of the side and the front when I smiled, the dorsal hump, and my nostrils

Directly before and after surgery

Here are pics that the surgeon took directly before and after surgery. So far I love it but still pretty nervous for cast removal! Wonder how it’ll fit my face
