Provider Review
Updating my post to say that I will get a revision rhinoplasty. I had a minor touch-up by Dr. Ort in November 2022, and I’ve been patient to see my final result; however, my nose has only grown in size and has lost support. I moved from WA and flew to see Dr Ort last summer regarding the swelling and bulbousness of my nose. She told me to see another surgeon for revision, and that she didn't see anything wrong with my nose. (It's wide, bulbous, falling, and my nasal bones on my bridge are uneven.) She would've posted my before and after if she thought my result was good. Not to mention, a good chunk of surgeons don't want to work on me now that I have had work done, revision rates are through the roof. I visited other surgeons who have pointed out that my nose tip is not adequately supported, and it’s a bit frustrating, to say the least. I wanted to avoid going under the knife again, so I tried looking into other things like alarplasty to help with the bulbousness and whatnot, but the entire tip will need work. I’m heartbroken, and I hate my nose when I smile. She's not a bad surgeon but for thick skin, broad noses I would advise a different surgeon.
