The Best Surgeon - 100% Recommend!

I have been insecure about my nose for as long as I can remember, so I decided to pluck up the courage and look into getting a rhinoplasty. I am from the UK, but I had heard that Turkey were experts in rhinoplasty surgery so I began searching long and hard, and eventually came across Dr Mehmet Erdil. I loved his results but I was a bit concerned about the fact that he had no negative reviews, and every one of his patients had only good things to say about him. I thought surely a surgeon can’t be THAT good. But now having had my surgery, I can see why. This man has not one single negative quality about him. He is one of the most caring, compassionate, and talented people I have ever met.

I went ahead and messaged his lovely assistant Feyza. She helped me with all of my questions and concerns, and then set up an online consultation for me. From that very first consultation I knew he was the surgeon for me. He was so knowledgeable and listened carefully to all of my complaints about my nose. He created a morph of what my nose could potentially look like and thoroughly explained why each adjustment was necessary. He was so honest and not afraid to tell me if my expectations were unrealistic, but still ensured I was happy with his plans. It was so easy to tell how experienced and well-educated he was. I booked my surgery for just a few weeks later.

I am now almost 2 weeks post op and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I was terrified to have the surgery especially as it was in a foreign country but it was so worth it! I had so much anxiety especially regarding the anaesthesia, but the whole process went seemingly. Mehmet has such a calming presence and as soon as you are with him, all of your anxiety just seems to disappear. He also has a great sense of humour and was even still joking with me before I fell asleep on the operating table, which helped calm a lot of nerves!

The day before the surgery I went to the hospital for all of my pre-op testing. I then met him at his office for my consultation. He thoroughly examined my nose, and was able to tell me everything about it. He is so knowledgeable on the subject and I genuinely think this man would be able to tell me the last time I sneezed if I asked him to. He created another morph for me and we discussed my expectations and whether they were actually achievable. Functionality is so important to him so he will refuse to do anything that will compromise this. This means that you may have to change your expectations, as some results are just not compatible with your nose shape. This is so rare to find in a surgeon as many today seem to just copy and paste the same Barbie style nose on to everyone, without taking into account your other facial features, or how functional the result will be long-term. Mehmet is the complete opposite of this. He knows his facial harmony so incredibly well, and will never give you a nose that is too small/big for your face. Every one of his noses is so beautiful and unique! Please trust him, even if the results he suggests for you are not what you had intended. I promise you this nose magician knows what he is doing!

At no point during any of my time with him did I feel rushed or not cared for. He spends so much time with each and every patient and will never make you leave his office until you feel ready. I really appreciate that about him! I also love the fact that he only tends to do one surgery a day. This means that nothing is rushed, and his full attention is on you and making sure you’re okay. You are his number one priority and you can tell he cares so deeply for his patients.

My surgery went better than I could have ever imagined. The hospital he operates in is fantastic and so modern, and the nurses were so kind even despite the language barrier. He has a lovely private nurse Öykü who checked me in at the hospital, helped me to sign all of the forms, and showed me to my room. She also stayed with me for a few hours after my surgery to make sure I was okay, which I was so thankful for! She came and visited me the following day to see how I was doing, checked me out of the hospital, and even assisted us in getting a taxi back to our hotel. I had a smooth recovery process which included the expected bruising and swelling, and then a week later, I was ready to have my cast removed. The whole time I had the lovely Feyza checking in on me each day to see how I was doing. I knew she was always there for me if I ever needed anything. Feyza and Öykü were both so patient and attentive, and the care they provided me with was excellent!

I had such a great experience and would do it all again in an instant. Mehmet is literally the sweetest man you will ever meet. Every time I was around him I felt so safe and at peace. He works extremely hard and for long hours, yet still manages to create such beautiful results, and all while still keeping that amazing personality of his. I genuinely don’t know how he does it, he should be very proud of himself!

Although I can’t speak on long-term results yet, I would highly recommend him to anyone and I’m so happy with my results so far! He is truly an expert in his field of work, and I don’t mean to sound too biased here but I feel like I definitely won the jackpot by finding him. Thank you Dr Erdil, you’re the best!
