7 months post-op rhinoplasty & I have a beautiful cute nose

ORIGINAL POST

Thank You Mark ^.^

WORTH IT
As someone who had a large nose - I felt like I could not live my day to day life without thinking about my nose. It was always something that made me upset and never would I have thought these results were possible. In September of 2021 I began my process of consultations. Before I saw Mark I saw a surgeon and unfortunately we did not mesh well. The other surgeon actually was quite off putting and I was so close to giving up on this process with how he made me feel. I decided to see Mark as his reviews were so high and I felt as though he worked on a noses that seemed similar to mine. I recommend seeing more than one surgeon, but no more than 3 before you make a decision. Before I even saw Mark, his assistants at Horizon were so lovely and welcoming that It made me feel quite comfortable and ready to see him. I want to shout them out because again they were super super lovely, even in my post care appointments. Then once I spoke to Mark I knew he was the one. From the beginning he was very honest. There is no flashy 3D imaging with Mark and honestly its a blessing as you do not want to be disappointed with a result that doesn't match an image. Mark explained this to me and I couldn't agree more. He told me he can make it 80% better and when I look at it I think it is so perfect I am so so happy I cant believe that I can live my day to day life and not think about my nose. Instead I know I have a beautiful cute nose all because of Mark. Covid was in the way of the procedure so I didn't have my surgery till February 2022. Also Mark and the anaesthetist both saw me immediately after my surgery just to let me know how it all went which I thought was very comforting. The recovery process for me was difficult mentally but physically was absolutely fine and quite smooth. The two weeks immediately after is a bit grim as you cant breath through your nose (with and without splints/ cast ), eating, drinking, sleeping is also a difficult but once the two weeks is over its smooth sailing. I had no pain whatsoever this entire recovery time. Icing is really important - there was never a time that I didn't have Ice on my face (in the 2 weeks of bandages) and it meant I didn't bruise which was great. When I removed my cast I actually fainted because it was so confronting seeing my new self which is totally normal - Its not that I didn't like what I looked at but again seeing a different person looking back at you was so strange. Nurse Connie was amazing and helped and made sure I was OK. You can see at the 6 week mark I still have quite a bit of swelling around my eyes and forehead and now at the 6 month mark I only feel a small amount of swelling around the tip but the rest has settled. My breathing felt normal at around the 3 month mark so patience is a really big factor in the recovery process which is why I felt that mentally I struggled. It sounds strange but my nose felt detached from my face and it felt heavy but at about the 4 month mark it started to feel like it was apart of my face so it can feel uncomfortable for sure. You also don't know how you look until about the 6 month mark so again patience has a huge role to play. Its really important to trust the process and trust your surgeon. I would never recommend or encourage a nose job to anyone as its a huge decision and it takes time to be sure so do your research and pick a surgeon that is right for you! I am very lucky and happy that I found Mark. The photos show before, 6 weeks after and 6 months after. Not long ago - I was having a conversation with someone and mid convo they stopped and say, Can I just say that your nose is so perfectly shaped its the type of nose people ask for when they want a nose job. Thank you forever Mark !

AMAZING result, and ik what u mean about that breathing omg. i'm almost 9 weeks PO and my breathing is still a bit iffy
Yep - one thing I forgot to mention about mark is that he mad sure he widened the airways so it gave me confidence that eventually ill be able to breathe! I just had to trust the process. Itll get better hun ! patience is so key - before you know it , youll be at 6 months too !
honestly, i'm counting down the days haha. did you constantly bump, hit or knock it throughout your early months and everything was fine?! every time i bump it i get so stressed!!
Itll go by so quick ! first few months are the slowest... I tried really hard not to knock it, I am still so conscious about knocking it. I have though and everything was fine! My surgeon and nurse encouraged patients to wiggle the tip of the nose and I asked why and they said so that patients become comfortable with it being touched and moved around !
obviously you aren't smart enough or have the knowledge to understand my comment so i'm not even gonna bother explaining, & why would i post at this moment in time? so ugly creeps like u can see? LMAO hell no
yes i have gotten a rhinoplasty, but i won't be posting a review or pics just yet till i'm at least 6-12 months PO, only 3 months right now :) :)
LOL are you good ?? why are you mad someone asked me a question literally no one was talking to you that's crazy. howcome you've replied to someone else saying "nobody should be negative to her" then go and say that to someone else ? or do you just simply lack any common sense? then u say "enough with all these huge ugly noses" on a plastic surgery app LMAO? ur a little keyboard warrior who sits on here hating on people cause ur insecure asf get a life u loser

You have one of the most dramatic and beautiful changes that I’ve seen.
Your story will give hope to lots of people who can see in you what a huge difference can be made with this procedure. I’m amazed at how beautiful you look now!
