be aware of this doctor, messed up my nose
After more than 1 year of waiting and waiting for my nose to heal from the “swelling” as cory torgerson said, i am left with an infected, horrid nose. It looks very fake and upturned even after all the swelling has gone down! and my nostrils are noticeably very uneven. To this day, I look like i have undergone major surgery from an accident, when my nose looked fine before and i just wanted togerson to NATURALLy make little aesthetic changes, but regret it now. I should have caught the red flag in the consultation when he insulted my moms nose saying i got hers and that’s why i want to change it! How RUDE! But i was in a rush and didn’t do my research as i just wanted to get it done. He showed pictures of what it could look like but my nose looks nothing like the pictures or to what we agreed upon at all! He is not a surgeon, just a business man. Knows how to reel you in please be aware and be very careful! I postponed writing this in fear and embarrassment of what he did to my nose, but I don't want others to go through the same experience as I did.
He does NOT know how to work on ethnic patients. Very condescending and rude. He pays people to delete bad reviews off google so please make sure to check other sites for real reviews about him you'll find a few with a lot of likes! I had my rhinoplasty done by him 14 months ago and to this day i regret it every day. Now my nose is infected because of a medpor implant he put in (which wsn't needed as he could have used my own nose cartilage but was lazy i guess) and my bridge is completely destroyed. Every other surgeon refuses to work on my nose as he made it so weak and tender that another surgery might make it completely collapse and the damage seems unfixable. When i meet people for the first time, they ask me if i got into an accident as my nose makes it look like it. My nose looks very crooked and my friends have noticed it as well. The results are not natural and he just does the cookie cutter white influencer nose. Not only looks, but he doesn’t know how to make it functional as i am left with breathing issues from him making my nose too small. When i go back to him, all he says is that he can charge me a revision to fix the breathing issue but i have to pay again for him to fix the uneven nostrils or low bridge that HE left me with! But upon consultation he promised that revisions would be free of charge except the anesthesia. Please i’m begging everyone do your RESEARCH on other websites and make sure you know what you’re getting into. His results are not natural at all and when i go to him for help he says it is still swelling after 1 and a half year! I asked him to give me a requisition for a culture swab to detect infection as another surgeon recommended I do that. After begging him and his staff for 2 weeks, they say no culture swab needed. Thankfully, another surgeon felt bad for me and decided to help and the culture came back positive for infection! When i went back to torgersons office saying it's positive, they completely dismissed it and kept telling me i have to undergo another surgery with torgerson as that is the only way to fix it. They are just trying to take even more money from me. Why would I go back to the same surgeon who messed up my nose to get it fixed? And he wanted to just remove my implant and replace it with nothing, what will support my tip?? He keeps switching up what he says and tries to be sneaky and I know he makes a lot of money and big surgeons pay to delete bad reviews to keep their image, but I will not back down. I will write this review on every website if i have to in order to inform others about my experience with dr torgerson. I will let everyone know to beware of him. I also went as far as to find and message people who got rhinoplasties done by him, and they unfortunately had a horrific experience as well and regret going to torgerson.
