Amazing Experience

I struggled with the appearance of my nose for years. I also, had a deviated septum that prevented me from breathing. I finally decided in 2020 to get it fixed and in March-April scheduled online consultations with different plastic surgeons. Dr.Keyes was the first plastic surgeon I talked to (and felt like he would be the surgeon I would choose). In our online consultation he informed me about the procedure and took the time to answer my questions. At the end of our call I told him I was just starting my research about rhinoplasty and still looking for the right doctor and he told me some things to look out for. He wanted what was best for me and that’s when I knew he would be the one. On top of that, he is a double board certified doctor, so he fixed the appearance of my nose and my deviated septum. My nose is so cute now and for the first in a long time I am able to breath from both nostrils!
Now to mention, Kimberley, she is the sweetest and most supportive surgical assistant ever! She has been there for me EVERY step of the way. She is so helpful and patient. Can’t explain how awesome she is in words but she’s the best.

Hi! You should talk to Kimberly she's the one that will discuss with you the price and if you have a deviated septum your insurance might be able to help as well.

A few weeks into the surgery I had a prolapse on my left nostril which Dr.Keyes fixed by stitching up (very heavily) which left a thick scar. The scar is pretty noticeable but I've learned to live with it (somewhat). Sadly this also made my left nostril appear smaller than my right nostril. I am trying to be patient and be hopeful that with time the scar will fade and become less prominent.

Now, there is a small bump coming out near the scar and this bothers me so much! It makes me sad and worried because I believed after 6 months my nose wouldn't change anymore... at least not for the worst. After talking to Dr.Keyes, he told me that if I wanted to fix it I would need to pay approximately another 1k since he would need to go into the operating room to open my nose and see what exactly that bump was.

By just feeling the bump he believes it is either the strut that shifted or my nose cartilage coming forward. Finally, the inside of my septum isn't completely straight but according to Dr.Keyes it's not a problem. Lastly, on the right side of my septum, there is this point made up by my cartilage. I can't take a picture of it but it's pointy and hard. This give the right side of my nose a fatter appearance. Overall, yes I have a better nose than I did before but it's devastating that I am not completely happy with my results.
