4 week update

I keep forgetting to sign in and update ! I have some new pics I wanted to share from week 3 and now. From cast removal to almost 4 weeks I kept waking up with a headache and nose hurting everyday. I’m close to 5 weeks in 2 days and feel a little bit of tenderness around nose , my tip is still sensitive. My bf has accidentally bumped my tip a few times trying to kiss me, it hurts when it happens but not for long. So far I am loving my results. Especially loving when I have my makeup and contour. I hope it gets a little thinner and tip gets smaller. It’s still kind of round but for sure a ton smaller than before. I’ve been taping my nose every night. I’m no longer icing my face. I stopped icing at 3weeks. My nose is super tender when I’m putting on makeup or using a makeup brush also , I just go really slow. Also trying to wash my face slow when I go around my nose. When my swelling started to go down I thought it looked pretty even including nostrils. Now that it’s been a few weeks I’m wondering if my nose swelling around tip is going down uneven. I wonder if when it’s been bumped that it shifted ? Idk I called dr when I got hit with pillow in sleep and the nurse said it wasn’t hard enough to do damage. So hopefully it’s just swelling. I don’t see it when I look at myself but only when I take photos. I uploaded one pic of my view from bottom to show. Also my scars around my nostrils are still pretty noticeable. I hope those go away soon. It looks butchered. Over all I am still happy and felt it was worth it. I wanted to note also for anyone considering , I had no idea that u can book an appointment in advance and pay 3 weeks before surgery. I would of booked ahead of time instead of the anxiety of accepting an appointment with short notice. I also used my credit card and got miles so that was a plus !

I Actually Did It !

I don’t usually write reviews but getting rhinoplasty and researching made me so obsessed with looking at every single photo and comments I could find , I thought I’d help. I fell in love with his work when I seen an influencer on ig with amazing results. I emailed the doctor back in April for a consult & then was able to drive to LA in July for work & went in for an in person consult, I was a little more interested & wanted to get a feel for it in person. I’m in the Bay Area so it’s a 5 hour drive. I have always been self conscious about my nose & mainly the tip.. my front view. I felt I was pretty but meeting new people I’d be a little shy. I’ve also had comments from people that were rude & hurt my feelings. Well anyways, I’ve always been afraid of getting a nose job for being botched but it seems like this doctors work is very consistent & makes really cute noses. I went in & he told me I had deviated septum & my left nostril was really blocked. I knew I snored at night & couldn’t breath well but I really noticed it was the left side after he told me. He removed cartilage from my top dorsal hump & added some in the middle where it Became narrow & worked on my tip & deprojected it. I had my surgery last Friday on 9/18 went in the day before for pre op, got my cast off 5 days later & flew back home for an hour same day. I literally iced my face everyday and still am multiple times a day , taking arnicare pills and gel , & drinking a lot of pineapple juice for bruising. I’m 1 week and 2 days post op. A lot of people say they don’t feel pain but I really really did feel pain. I took all my narcos sooo fast. I felt pressure and headaches with the cast on. The day after cast removal I was soooo swollen and my nose was extremely tender. Now I’m not going to lie .. when the nurse removed my cast I was a little scared.. I didn’t like my front view still, it was very swollen by my eyes and I looked flat like with no definition. After staring at myself in the mirror for 5 minutes I thought my profile looked really cute. It was just a little bit of a shock. Now that I’m 4 days away from the cast removal I see some swelling going down & feel a lot better about it. I did my makeup and felt really cute in photos.. I am really happy with how it’s going so far. I know it will take time but I just didn’t expect the first day to look how it did. I’ll post some pictures of before and daily. I hope these help someone & feel free to ask.
