Rhinoplasty: I can’t wait to continue to heal and see results.

I’ve considered getting a rhinoplasty for over ten years, but only recently decided to schedule consultations. After seeing 5 other facial plastic surgeons, I saw Dr Bassichis. He listened to all of my concerns and calmed my nerves. Everybody in his office was extremely friendly and sweet, and they made me feel at ease. He explained a lot behind the ideal angle between features, and assured me that I would not end up with a teeny, bunny slope nose that didn’t suit my large features. I am 24 hours post op now, and have yet to experience any pain or bruising. So far, I only have mild swelling and I can’t believe I didn’t take the plunge sooner. He also works exclusively with Dr Scalfano, a board certified anesthesiologist. I did not have to be intubated- only received a laryngomask so I was breathing on my own while under propofol. Everyone at the surgery center was great as well. I had so much nervousness as I laid on the surgical table, and fell asleep as the sweet scrub tech wiped my tears off my cheeks. I can’t wait to continue to heal and see results.

Still no major bruising or swelling! The bridge of my nose is a little swollen, making me look like an avatar ha. My eyes never really bruised purple, only yellow. No pain still! Excited to get my cast off in three days. My surgeon sent me flowers yesterday, which I thought was really nice.

First day driving and going to work! Yesterday I only took two half tablets of Norco, and today I’ll try to not take any. I’ve had no pain so far! Also attaching before pics for reference.
