Rhinoplasty
I got a rhinoplasty/septoplasty with Dr. Portuese in November. I mainly wanted to fix a very subtle minor cosmetic issue I have had with my nose since around the age of 12. During the process of pre-op consultations we also decided a septoplasty was best as well as I had a deviated septum. One of my main concerns was pain medication as I am a recovering addict and himself and his team were incredibly helpful figuring out a plan to get me on and off the pain meds as quickly and easily as possibly. The surgery and recovery went smoothly, and I am about one month out and already extremely happy with the results.
After consulting with other doctors in the greater Seattle area, I decided on Dr. Portuese because of his extensive knowledge, great bedside manner, and wonderful surgical work I had seen both online and from friends who had gone to him for the same surgery. He’s clearly very experienced and I felt completely safe and comfortable with putting this surgery in his hands. His staff has always been very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable as well.
At a little over one month out I still see some swelling on my nose but that is to be expected and I am so ecstatic about the results thus far. My nose and face still look like me, just perfected. I highly recommend him and his team if you’re looking for great facial surgical work.
