I chose Dr. Cochran based on Realself reviews so I felt the need to pay it forward with my own review. I'm currently 6 months post op and I have to say Dr. Cochran really did change my life. Growing up I struggled with a large and extremely asymmetrical nose with a boxy tip. Because of this I had no idea what it was like to feel confident. I traveled about 6 hours to Dallas for a consultation and scheduled my surgery for some weeks ahead. Dr. Cochran was so kind and I felt he understood exactly what I hoped for. The day of surgery went smooth and my husband and I stayed nearby at a hotel. I think a day or 2 after surgery we were able to drive home. We then drove back to Dallas 2 weeks later (I think) to have my cast and stitches removed. You will hear and read SO MANY TIMES before having rhinoplasty that what your nose looks like as soon as the cast is removed is not the final result. BELIEVE IT! My nose looked dramatically better after cast removal but it was very swollen and my nostrils were SO uneven! Even though I knew it wasn't the final product it still scared me. I knew I needed to just trust the process and I did. Forward 6 months to today I couldn't be happier with my results and I wouldn't change anything about my nose! It's perfect to me. Dr. Cochran, his office staff and the hospital staff couldn't have been more amazing! I truly had the best experience! Now have the confidence I didn't have before.

Dear kayelleohh,
It appears that one of the things that Dr Cochran did was trimmed off some of the lower lateral cartilage and then stitched the cartilage together for a more refined tip.

Beautiful results, thank you for sharing your experience. Did you have an open or closed procedure?
