Thought I would add a couple of recent pics to show what my nose looks like at 2.5 years post op. Not much has changed. But I'm okay with that. ..................................................................................

Your journey is identical to mine although it looks like your results were slightly better than my outcome. I relate completely x

I think my expectations were high because my doctor has done so many other nose jobs with amazing outcomes. It is better than some others, just not ideal.

I think it looks natural and beautiful.

I think it looks better , and I don’t think you should be worried - give more time

One year came and went on 1/3/20. I saw my doctor last week and he thinks it looks great. I'm not all that happy with it though. I hoped it would be straight but it still curves and my tip is still large. I'm almost 43 now and not sure I want to continue having more surgeries just to look better. My regret is I kept telling my doc I did not want to look like a pig or michael jackson so he went very conservative...I wish I just let him do his magic.

Good to hear back from my beaitiful sister!
I think you look stunning in your post year pictures and see s huge difference in tyhe great results you got, While I can understand you wanting a bit more refinement,I also see the wisdom in just accepting the great results your doctor already achieved. There is always a risk with each surgery performed and only you can be the one who determines how to proceed.
I had a free miner revision done to my nose back in September. I did not even have general anesthesia because my doctor said it was not necessarry since he had "laughing gas" and the entire surgery would take about 25-30 minutes. And most of the time was the prep with local novacaine, etc.It has been about 4.5 months and the bumpy protrusion is mostly corrected. I know my doctor would give me a third surgery for free to correct the miner imperfection still left but I do not want to take the risk for things I can live well with . I am satisfieds withthye overall results even though I too would have liked the final results to be more refined .
Perhaps we both will even see greater refinement in the next year because the nose cvan still be healing over 2 years on some people .
But I do think your nose is adorable and fits your beautiful face perfectly.Keep on fighting the good fight of faith andbeing beautiful both outside and inside! And ablessed happy new year to you and your loved ones.

Thank you 4hinda2. You always say the kindest things. I am so happy to hear you are happier with your refinement. I think some people have the face for a nose job while others do not. I guess you never know until you do it! Take care my lovely friend!

At 9 mo. post. My nose is still swollen and hard. Sometimes I feel like its growing back! I'm looking forward to the "final result" around one year post. I added some photos in different lighting this time.

It is still bulbous, I agree, do you know what changes the surgeon made to your LLC's?

I'm not sure what an LLC is?
October 7, 2019
Those are the lower lateral crural, which are mainly responsible for the bulbous appearance of a nose. It should either but made smaller through cutting, re-positioning or by placing struts/grafts underneath.

changing the LLC's however is a tricky job, the front view is the most difficult to get right.

No matter what imperfectios toeibles you, you are a very brautiful attractivec woman inside and out. Your picture reveal this and your words and attitude confirm it!But no amtte r how many compliments you get or even wish you would get, you and only you will determine what needs to be done or what needs to be left unbdone within the next few months.I was in a similar situation as you except surgeon actually agreedthat my nose needed an "adjustment" in fyrtgher smoothimg out an asymetrical noticable bumpy protrusion. I was terrified to undergo this 30 minute in office procedure under a local (ProNox),which is a form of Nitrous Oxide or as we older dental patients know it as "laughing gas". I could no infornation or reviews online of anyone havinf their nose "tweaked' under ProNox done as an officec procedure. Since it was offered to me,free of anyb charges, and both my doctor and the nurses affirmed it was done by other patients , I decided to calm my fears down and get the surgery done. It was done on September 12th and it turned out to be just as my doctor and nurses described. I was fully awake and felt the strange pressure and sensation of needles going into me and rasping of bone. But it was far more strange than it was painful. In fact the perception of pain certainly was not experienced as actual pain. You feel camped out in this lovely magical land where pain anddiscomfort as we know it does not exist. There is just a sense of certain physical things going on that are not really what I would call pain..rather some sort of odd distant pressure and physical sensations happening that were neither painful nor terrifying. One person described: t is like feelingb pain but feeling too distracted from it to actually be botghered by it. Just as my doctor had told me, the whole entire procedure took a little less than 30 minutes. I was sent home woth a bandage and cotton guaze to catch any bleeding. I was so relieved andblessed to have finally had the dreaed procedure done. I had also asked my doctor if he could refine the dorsal area and make it slightly less "prominent". He did attaempt to do this also and now I just havec to patoiently wait for the healing process to continue to see the final results. Itthe visable bumpy area does appear to be improoved although I know I must wait longer for more healing to take place. I do not have any pictures taken before my initial surgery on April of 2018 nor do I have any pictures they just took at my 1 week post operative visit . It has b now been 4v weeks and I can see some swelling already going down and I am hoping the results will keep on improving . After hours and hours of reseraching other patients experiences online, I have concluded that perfection is almost impossible to ever achieve in rhinopalsty despite the "perfect little noses " we often see on you tube and even in patient galleries. Everyone's unique anatomy and facial structure and healing process and skin depth and a "thousand 'other variables are at play in the final results of a Rhinopalsty. If is do not see near perfect symmetry in the area that was rasped down I will hope it will be continue to beat least a better version of the nose that was recently "tweaked".Ib will try and get copies of all the pictures my doctor took on my Rhinopalsty journey. My next appointment with my doctor is Nov. 25th. Hopefully, there will be even more improvement and some positive pictures to post. I have put off writing a review until my journey has closure. Overall I am blessed by the results and extremely blessed I chpse to place my trust and confidence in the kind skilled surgeon , Dr. Willaims and his great support team of caring, nurturing nurses and assistants.I will mention that I had my initial Rhib noplast done at Williams Plastic Surgery Specialists in Latham,NY when I was 64 years old!Yes, that is a very old age to try and improc ve a very old problem. But that too is a very long story I will enjoy sharing at some time in the future to help encourage other women strugglingf with a negative self image regarding the size and or shape of their nose. I di not mean to get distracted from my desire to encourage, you , my dear friend who has offered me great encouragement on this forum.I know whatv it feels like to be unhgappy with our surgery despite any complimmments we may have rewceived from other people. I know the inner battlw we often must wrestle with as we strain for the best possible solution and results we can get in all areas of our persona llife. And Rhinoplast surgery is a huge long journey we take hoping for the best, being grateful for the best, being patient with the long waiting process and being brave and wise about any complications , unfavorable results and other challenges life brings. I will be praying you and your doctor decide the best solution for the best possible results that can be achieved even thatv means "tweaking" things in the future. You certainly alreadt look so beautiful with the nose that looks so batural abd fitting for your bright warm face! But you certainly deserve the best possible outcome you invested so much time and money into!Meanwhile, j keep on sharing the real authentic beauty and kindness Godhas blessed you with with everyone who crosses your path, I personally am so blessed to have found you on this online resource and remain so grateful to God for the gift you have given me along this long journey .Thank you for being so transparent, brave and beautiful!

Thank you so much for your kind words 4hinda2. I think I'm adding my photos to this site more for people to view and determine if this is something they want from this doctor. He told me he did a very conservative nose job, probably because I begged him to not let me look like a pig, but I wish he made it a little straighter. Most of his other patients noses came out straight so maybe mine was just especially difficult. I'm scared to say anything negative to him because I dont think it will go over well. I'm just praying God will help me accept what I now have. After all, we don't get to have everything we want in this life. I appreciate you 4hinda2. Hopefully your new nose looks amazing!

So sorry for all my typo's. I do not see a way of editing the mess?

I think it's a brilliant result, extremely natural and also refined and pretty, I really wouldn't touch it any further, it's a fantastic nose.

I think do yourself a favour and get a second opinion one year after your procedure, also approach your surgeon and inform him the procedure did not meet your expectations. I am in the same position, 10 months post procedure, not happy with my front view, since my nose is now more bulbous, we cannot pay these exorbitant costs, with an expectation of a more refined nose, that the surgeon is actively helping us to create I have to add, just to afterwards say " o well, I did the best I could", to me that is someone not taking accountability.
