WORTH IT$6,500
I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I was old enough to know it could be done (11/12 years old) but never thought it would be possible. I’m very squeamish and have panic attacks when getting blood drawn. I have an extremely low pain tolerance and am terrified of IV needles. (Very bad experiences with them) I decided I would face all my fears in order to make this monumental change to the centerpiece of my face. My goal is to not change hugely, just enough where my tip is thinner, the bones are not as strong/masculine with smaller nostrils and not have a hump. I want a “Bella Hadid” or “Natalia Barulich” nose, something pretty straight to not change that much. I’m scheduled for September 27th. Before all of that it’s my 22nd birthday next week and I’m going on a cruise! Right after the cruise I’m getting my bloodwork done (no health insurance) and less than a week later I’m traveling to Europe to see my family for a week. Then it’s My husbands birthday the day before I leave to Miami. (Sooo busy) I hope the stress of it all doesn’t take a toll on the healing process!!!

Everything is as planned so far. Today I am packing everything to leave to Miami tomorrow morning for my pre-op appointment.
The only things I am taking are:
Comfortable clothes and pyjamas
Wipes
Pillows
Cotton buds
Gel eye-mask ice pack
Slip-on shoes
Lip balm
Vapor Rub
I’ll be getting my prescription medications tomorrow along with any extra supplies the surgeon recommends. I don’t want to over-pack so I’m avoiding putting in extra things that I know I won’t use in the first 2 days after surgery. The only extra thing I am considering is gauze and cottonwool but I’m pretty sure that the surgery center provides those.
Hubby will be driving me home just under 70 hours after surgery. It’s a 5 hour drive so I hope I can rest a bit during that time.
It’s only now becoming real after weeks of vacations and putting the thought of surgery away from my mind. I attached photos of my “dream nose” although I know everyone is different and the same nose doesn’t fit every face.

They didn’t allow me to take the xanax that was prescribed but the IV went ok. Pain level 9/10 today. My pain tolerance is very low however. Staying 3 minutes from the clinic is a blessing. Had a smoothie and took my first percocet. Waiting for the effect. Going to have soup now and rest up. Excited to see my new nose!
