10/10 Life Changing Experience

Just a little 3 month update! I feel like a lot of my swelling has gone down now, and I’m still absolutely loving my nose! I still tape my nose every night which works wonders, and I’ve been taking bromlein again recently too. Although sometimes I have bad days with swelling, like after a night of drinking alcohol or doing a lot of exercise it will swell, I feel so grateful for my op and can’t even recognise myself looking at my before photos! I’m always happy to answer any questions about it so don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you Mr Hassan!

I’m very nearly 1 month post op so I thought I’d write an update of everything that’s happened since :)
When people say your rhinoplasty journey is only just beginning when you get your cast off it’s just so true haha! So for me, cast off day is the smallest and least swelling I have experienced so far with my nose. My nose is quite swollen now which is completely to be expected - and I still love it even with the swelling! To manage swelling I have been massaging my nose about 3 times per day for about 10 minutes each time and taping my nose at night and wearing the cast. I’m still taking bromlien tablets as I’ve noticed a difference with them. The swelling is worse when I drink alcohol definitely but goes down again after a day. However I’ve spoken to my friends and no one actually notices a difference in my swelling so I think a lot of it is only visible to me as it’s on my face haha! My nose has completely changed my confidence and I look back at old photos and I just can’t even believe that was my old nose!
About a week ago I noticed irritation on my alar base incision which I was very worried about being an infection, so I sent elite an email with pictures and mr Hassan rang me back 10 mins after I sent the email and gave me instructions on what to do next. Luckily for me it wasn’t an infection it was just irritation as my skin is really sensitive! The aftercare I have received from elite has been 10/10 with any problems I’ve had.

Words fall short of what Mr Hassan has done for me! I had a rhino - septoplasty with alar base reduction and cartilige grafts done on the 12th April 2019 and from start to finish him and his team have been professional and delivered results way beyond my expectations. I originally decided to go with Mr Hassan after meeting with numerous surgeons who didn't quite give me the confidence I was after. On the day of the op I was very nervous and he completely put me at ease, and from then I knew I was in the best hands. My recovery was almost pain-free, and from post-op day 5 I was feeling myself again. Mr Hassan was considerably more expensive than most other surgeons I looked into but I would pay double after my experience. My results speak for themselves! I would recommend Mr Hassan to anyone.
