DREAM TURNED NIGHTMARE
Since Dr. Tas staff previously asked me to write reviews on my experience, I feel it is my duty to not only update my review but also fully inform this community of what I have endured post operatively so that one does not make the same mistake I did. This surgery has been without a doubt the worst experience of my 37 year old life. If you are reading this review, please note that I too was most likely where you are. In search of the best plastic surgeon with whom I would entrust the only nose I have. What started off as a pleasant experience (no complications during or after surgery, nose looked ok for the first two month while swollen) turned into the biggest regret of my life. I have just completed my first year post-op on 4/13 and I will have to look for a revision specialist to reconstruct my nose not only aesthetically but to also for function (I have lost the ability to breathe through the right side of my nose).
What I asked for: minimal, natural conservative changes, not to take off too much cartilage, absolutely no rotation and a straight bridge.
What I am left with: inability to breathe properly, over-resected sloped bridge, too much cartilage removed from my alar base, over-rotated shortened tip, tons of scar tissue, loss of self esteem and debilitating depression.
This doctor took a decent nose that needed a slight lift (where the dropping was occurring) and took off 1/3 of my nose. What’s worse is I thought that maybe I was just that one case that didn’t go as planned… but upon a pretty extensive internet search I finding this not to be the case.

8 Week Update
Making A LOT of progress. I love my new nose, I think it gives me a much softer look than before, plus accentuates my eyes. I am still pretty swollen, but not nearly as much as even a month ago. My nostrils are still small and will expand (for reference if I wanted to pick my nose I couldn’t, not to be gross). Tip needs to come down but it already has since cast removal. Noticing one side is slightly more swollen than the other and it’s totally normal. My nose still a little stiff but it’s still FRESH. Nose jobs are a slow process. If you have zero patience I suggest a liquid rhinoplasty because surgery will not be for you. Some days are better than others over here. You must trust the process and the experience of the surgeon you choose to deliver an amazing result. It will not be overnight. And definitely not out of the cast. I’m 10/10 happy with my results thus far and will update again soon.
See some included before photos. I don’t care what anyone says, my nose was bulbous and wide. Could I have lived with it, sure. I would have complained about it until I died. So I’m happy I made the decision to fix my hump and droopy tip. I honestly can’t wait until the tip drops to its resting position, I’ll be even happier.

Amazing, Wonderful Experience from Beginning to End
I had spent several years researching and consulting with some of the best plastic surgeons in New York and LA before finally deciding to travel outside of the US for my rhinoplasty. I’m happy I chose Dr. Tas for this procedure and am blown away by his professionalism and also the entire staff of the clinic. They literally hold your hand hand here through the entire process and make it so seamless. I felt like all of my questions were answered from the time I reached out to the clinic until the very end when I left.
I am looking forward to seeing my final result since I am still swollen, but for now am thrilled with my outcome.
