Finally have a symmetrical nose! Most swelling has gone down & like result

I've had two previous rhinoplasty's to correct the issues with my nose - mainly symmetry. The first changed the shape but my nose was still bent, I left it for 15 years and eventually needed a revision as so much cartilage had been taken that one side of my nose started collapsing in and I developed breathing issues. The second surgery I had with Mr Joe Marais, who made my nose worse. I felt really down after this, avoiding photo's, depressed and full of regrets... my advise, don't let money dictate your choice of surgeon, you often get what you pay for.
I saw about 10 consultants after this vowing to go with the best - Lucion's name kept popping up as the revision expert. He was calm, detailed, clear and very confident during my consultation, I got a good feeling. The surgery and recovery went well, immediately after taking off the cast I could see that I finally had a symmetrical nose! The man knows what he's doing and I'm so glad I put my trust in him.
I'm 7 months post op now, much of the swelling has gone down and I really like the result. During the recovery, any time I had a concern, Lucion was always there, he's team are really lovely too. At one point, he was worried I might develop an infection so booked me in for lots of check ups, he was very attentive and even made time for me on his days off. Quite a lot of reviews on here mention that he is very caring, and that's what I experienced too. That was really important to me when choosing a surgeon as I had two previous bad experiences with surgeons who simply didn't care.
I still have some swelling to go (I'm taping every night) though so happy with how it's looking, I'm confident taking photo's and the collapsed nostril has been opened up, breathing is easier.
So yes, 100% I would recommend Lucion Ion, with any rhinoplasty it's unlikely you'll get the perfect nose, but as long as you have a great surgeon they'll get you the best result they can - Lucion is a great surgeon!
