How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Simple Procedure to Shave/trim Cartilage?
I’ve had three rhinoplasties. They occurred after a septoplasty. After each one, the nose had a cartilage bump on the right and the left seemed to have little cartilage. The surgeon attributes it to memory in the nose. I’m pleased with the latest revision with the exception of a large cartilage bump on the right side. Is this a simple procedure to shave this down? I don’t want another full revision. The surgeon has said he already tried shaving it down. I don’t understand what he means because we did a full revision each time. The most recent material was rib cartilage.
