Saved my Face After 2 Bad Nose Jobs 2019

I am writing this 6 years post op, so people can have confidence in this man.
I felt like I should do a review, more than 6 years after my revision rhinoplasty with rib graft with Mr Ion.
Long story short I had a botched nose job on 2008 with Crawford at the Hampshire clinic, basically ruined my face. He took way too much cartilage and the left side, I spent years of my 20s trying to avoid my photo being taken from the front as my nose was deformed. I went to see another surgeon Mr Matti, He did open rhinoplasty in 2010 but did not use any rib graft. My nose looked better for about 2 years then pretty much reverted back to how it was before the 2nd operation. I lived with this for a few more years and in 2018 I found Mr Ion and decided on a closed rhinoplasty. He did this under sedation. I was happy with the result and although my nose was still way too short and was wonky it looked better than it had. I decided after another consultation in 2019 to go for the full rib graft Open rhinoplasty with mr ion. So he took some of the rib from my right side and rebuilt my nose. He made it longer and more stable and more even. I have to be honest I was not happy when the bandages came off. But in hindsight this was because of the massive swelling. But after a few weeks I could start to see the difference. I unfortunately got an infection in the stitches inside my nose but I think this may have happened because of me and not being as careful with aftercare as I should have. I ended up having another operation and some of the cartilage removed. But this ended up making my nose look better over all.
Ever since then (Feb 2020) I no longer worry about how my nose looks in photos or vidoes. I can look straight on and not worry it will look strange. The reason for the review now is I am over 6 years out and still super happy with the outcome. My nose feels normal and strong. Other than small scar underneath you cant see I've had rhinoplasty.
This man is a genius in his field. I felt like Crawford ruined my face in 2008 and it wasn't until I met Mr Ion and he fixed my nose I have felt confident about how I look since before any surgery.
I would advise anyone undergoing this massive surgery to be patient ! Don't think what you see after the cast comes off is what you will end up with as it takes weeks to settle. Be very, very careful with aftercare. Ensure your nose is kept so clean and put tape over at night to help swelling.
Long short this man saved my face and my confidence that Crawford took away from me. If he can fix my nose he can fix yours!
