Absolutely Amazing- 10/10

If you’re looking to do a revision rhinoplasty but mentally and physically scarred from previous experiences, look no further. I underwent my first rhinoplasty with another surgeon in 2021. I was so unhappy with the results and had lost all faith and trust in anyone ever touching my nose again. I was so traumatised by the experience, that I thought every rhinoplasty was like this. I did some thorough online research, reading every review and looking at every picture on google, real self and instagram till I settled on booking a consult with Dr Sim. There were so many problems with my nose to the point I was unsure if they were in my head or actually existed. Dr Sim was patient, understanding and was the first person who actually took the time to assess my nose and point out all the issues I thought only I could see. I knew after this that Dr Sim was the one and booked him in. Let me say, one of the best decisions I have ever made. I underwent Revision Rhinoplasty five weeks ago with Dr Sim and to say he changed my life is an understatement. From the get go of arriving at the hospital, Dr Sim came and saw me before the surgery, clarifying all the things we were going to change. One thing that stood out to me, Dr Sim isn’t going to tell you what you want to hear and give you another result. He is realistic in his work and is clear from the beginning what is an achievable outcome.

My revision surgery went for 5.5 hours, including a rib graft and from the point of waking up you could see the difference in my nose through the cast. I already felt so much happier.

Fast forward one month, lots of icing, cast and tubes removed and taping, I can finally say it’s the happiest I’ve been in 3 years. The harmony of my nose is so proportioned to my face, I don’t feel insecure about the obvious flaws sticking out and my nose looks so natural it just blends into my face. I can even confidently say, the swelling of my nose 5 weeks post- op has been less than my nose at the 3 year mark of the previous surgery.

Moral of the story; if you’re looking to do a revision rhinoplasty, scared because you have lost all faith in other surgeons, don’t know if you should book that consult- Do it (as long as it’s with Dr Sim)
