WORTH IT
I had revision rhinoplasty of the tip (rib graft) with Dr. Townley just under two months ago (late 2025), having had primary and revision rhinoplasty with a different surgeon some decade ago. During my first consultation (early 2023), we discussed my concerns (uneven and unnatural looking tip) and Dr. Townley explained to me what was the cause and walked me through how he would approach improving the appearance, the complexities and the potential risks involved. He also explained this to me with great detail in writing, which helped me tremendously while I was contemplating whether or not to go ahead with another revision. Once I had decided to go ahead, I felt that it was an informed decision. Having spent a fair bit of time on and off over the last decade trying to find the right surgeon, I've had complete confidence in Dr. Townley from the start. I felt that he truly understood my concerns and that he was transparent about what was realistically achievable. He encouraged me to take my time before coming to a decision, which I appreciated (and did!). Throughout my hospital stay I was treated wonderfully by Dr. Townley and his team, and the hospital staff, who were all very calm, professional and kind. I've been kept well informed throughout the whole process, leading up to the surgery as well as on the day, and Dr. Townley's office has been excellent in ensuring that I've had everything I've needed. Conscious of still being early in the healing process, the results so far are so much better than I could have ever imagined. My nose looks natural and proportionate. Dr. Townley has done an exceptional job and I'm very grateful.
