Revision rhinoplasty number three, a week out and still very swollen, so this review will be updated as healing progresses.
Very kind and incredibly patient doctor, who may have, very well, ended the nightmare that has been my nose.
I'm happy with my results thus far. Nose appears to have been returned to its proper position and the step off deformity corrected. Flying home after the surgery, required a mask, which was painful, and caused some additional swelling/bruising. Other than that, it appears poised to be extremely cute, but as I mentioned, it is difficult to give a definitive answer on my result. So watch this space for future updates. If asked, at this moment, I would totally recommend this doctor to anyone seeking a revision, especially corrections in regards to tip issues.

I will include photos. My surgery was November 24, so I'm very early in my healing, still a lot of swelling but I'll post tonight.

Hi- Thank you for posting. I’m looking for revision with him too. Would you mind sharing pictures or more detail of what all he had to do in your surgery.. even if it’s in a private message. I’m in a similar situation and would greatly appreciate any additional information!!! :)

There was so much wrong with my nose. Step off deformity, tip support was nonexistent, callouses, scar was horrible... I could continue this list all day.

I'm looking for third revision too! Just had a virtual consult with him today. He seems confident that he can fix my issue. Have you made a decision yet?

I will wait to visit him in person before taking a decision . But I will definitely visit him . I'll be coming from China

Would you mind sharing what was wrong with your nose?

Sure, but there were quite a few. Step off deformity, loss of tip support, callouses, droopy tip, asymmetry, and lack of projection.

Thank you! It’s just looking at the photos I could not see what was wrong. I am very unhappy with my rhinoplasty and contemplating Dr Reish for my revision.

Is the step-off deformity on the columella, where he stitched the open rhinoplasty back together? I think I was left with that, too, but I did not know the name for it.

Yes. It looked like notches were taken out.

I love that you were able to get that part fixed. Every part of my nose sure seemed a mess after my first revision. I didn't know what that defect was called, thank you for explaining. It's helpful. My current doctor seems to have smoothed that area of my columella a bit from the looks of it. Happy healing to you! Thank you again! Your nose looks great and I hope you are increasingly pleased with it.

Thank you. I really don't know yet, if he was able to correct it, since there is still swelling, but he said it could be fixed, once the swelling goes down, and that it's a simple procedure and won't be any additional charge. So either way, it will be ok.
