Revision Rhinoplasty Gone Very Wrong

It’s been a few years since my initial surgery - a revision septorhinoplasty done by Richard Reish, and almost 2 years since the last of several failed attempts to correct the deformities caused by that surgery. The goal of the revision was to correct my breathing as well as aesthetic issues including dents, asymmetry and a hanging columella. Unfortunately, my nose was over-shortened, over-rotated and my columella was left with a massive dent from the sutures. To make matter worse, Dr. Reish caused necrosis to my tip and columella due to the fact that neither he nor his PA (who is a well-known cosmetic injector) were unable to promptly diagnose and treat a vascular occlusion when he decided to inject filler into my already very compromised nose. In fact, at the onset of my symptoms, they both told me that the immediate discoloration of my skin was a “bruise” when it was actually my skin being deprived of oxygen. Furthermore, Dr. Reish DISCOURAGED the use of widely employed treatments to heal my skin which only contributed to the permanent damage. It is simply UNFATHOMABLE to me that a plastic surgeon and his PA who injects fillers on a daily basis were unable to quickly diagnose an extremely serious vascular event. I cannot say Dr. Reish has been dismissive of my concerns or inattentive. However, this doesn't negate the fact that he caused a permanent issue unnecessarily and that's not something to be overlooked. Not to mention the fact that if I hadn't been diligent and proactive myself by researching my symptoms and making sure I was seen in a timely manner, the outcome could've been absolutely catastrophic. Attached are photos of my nose - the first which is literally an hour after I left the doctor's office immediately following the filler injection. How this could have been considered normal is beyond me. The subsequent photos are of my nose in the days, weeks and months following the incident. I was patient, I waited YEARS to see if my skin condition would resolve as Dr. Reish said it would and it never did. My nose tip remains freezing cold to the touch and is almost always discolored. To make matters worse, I can’t find another surgeon who will confidently take my case on for a revision because of how compromised my skin is now. I’m physically and mentally destroyed from all of this trauma and, quite frankly, I may never recover.
