Julian Rowe-Jones is an Incredible Surgeon!

Julian Rowe-Jones is an Incredible Surgeon!

In 2018 I had a primary rhinoplasty with a different surgeon to remove the bump on the bridge of my nose and improve my side profile. Although I was really happy with the bridge post-op, once the swelling subsided, I noticed that my nasal tip was left pinched and that I was experiencing nasal valve collapse. This was especially frustrating as I never asked for the tip of my nose to be altered. As a result of the pinching, my nose looked unattractive from the front and I also found it difficult to breathe through my nostrils. I was left absolutely devastated.

For the next 12 months, I searched high and low for doctors who could potentially fix the problems caused by my primary rhinoplasty until I was fortunate enough to come across The Nose Clinic. Although I was nervous to make my first appointment for a revision rhinoplasty, I immediately felt comfortable once I met Julian and his wife Emma. They both took great care when trying to understand the physical and mental issues I’d been experiencing following my primary surgery, and paid great attention to detail when trying to understand exactly what I wanted to change about my nose if I was to pursue a revision.

During my initial consultation, I explained that I wanted my tip widened slightly so that it was no longer pinched and that I hoped to breathe better. Julian explained a variety of options that could be taken in order to fix the issues I was experiencing, as well as the potential risks associated with each. In the end, I decided to opt for a cartilage graft to be taken from my rib which would be used to widen my nasal tip and open up my nostrils. In the weeks leading up to my operation, I visited the Nose Clinic a number of times to ensure I felt as confident as possible before going in for surgery. Julian welcomed this, and also stressed that it was never too late for me to back out if I changed my mind.

I had my revision rhinoplasty towards the end of last year and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks to the cartilage grafts, my nose now has more structure than before, is a lot less pinched, and my nostrils are no longer collapsed. This in turn has massively improved my self-confidence as well as my breathing. Throughout each step of my journey, Julian and Emma were extremely kind and supportive. They’ve also told me to get in touch with them if I have any questions or concerns in the future. I honestly couldn’t recommend the Nose Clinic more :)

Thanks for sharing your review, glad you're happy with your results. Will you be sharing any photos?

I am really wanting to get a rhinoplasty but this is my biggest fear, that they won't get it right the first time and I won't be able to afford a revision and.miss out that much work. Did you show your concern to your initial surgeon and what did he say? This is why I haven't gone through with it but have been wanting to for years, u have a consult in may
Hi there, would you be able to share any before and after pics pls (even via DM)? Would be a big help for me! Thank you!
I would really really appreciate seeing some before and after photos. I am enquiring about a revision because of similar issues but I’m terrified it’ll be worse than my first surgery. I’m really interested in building up your tip because that is what I would need - I only wanted my bump reduced not my tip.
Thank you and I hope that you find happiness with your new nose
