My nose is now straight and my nostrils are perfectly symmetrical

My case was a difficult one. I had my first rhinoplasty, in Dubai 20 years ago, after many years of being unhappy with my nose due to its large size, unsightly hump and cartlidge which had separated at the tip - leaving a noticeable separation.
Immediately following my first rhinoplasty, I was happy with the outcome due to the drastic decrease in the size of my nose. However, it was to become obvious over the years that the quality of the surgery was not superior. To add to the complexity of my case, I broke my nose about 15 years after that first operation when I fell down a flight of stairs. As a result of these 2 factors, my nose had become extremely crooked (like a boxers nose), there was also some cartlidge sticking out halfway up my nose and the tip was starting to look quite ‘bobbly’.
I had been considering a revision rhinoplasty for some time and was resolute in finding a surgeon who only specalised in noses and had the experience in handling difficult cases. I researched surgeons all over the world and considered travelling to doctors in Turkey and NYC. On reflection, I am very glad I didn’t take this route, as it would have added unnecessary complications.
Having found Mr Rowe-Jones online and reading many, many wonderful reviews, I decided to have a consultation. I knew straight away this was the surgeon for me. Immediately, I could see he was meticulous, honest and, despite his brilliance, one of the most humble people you will ever meet. He was very focused on clearly defining my desired outcomes (for me it was a straight nose and symmetrical nostrils) and these were mentioned at each consultation, before surgery and included in my notes. He was careful to highlight what level of improvement could be made and the factors that may be variable based on what he discovered during the operation. I went into surgery with the expectation I may get a 50% improvement.
I am elated to report what I actually got was a 100% improvement! My nose is now ‘spirit-level’ straight and my nostrils are perfectly symmetrical. It’s been just over 6 weeks since my operation, so I am still healing, but the results are astounding! Going above and beyond what we discussed, Mr Rowe-Jones also tidied up the tip of my nose so that it now doesn’t look bobbly; just a very natural, neat looking tip. It’s most definitely my dream nose!
He is the perfect combination of artist and surgeon in that he really takes the time to understand and account for each individuals’ physical characteristics and what will look natural on the face. I analysed many surgeons work during my lengthy due diligence and you can often see a formulaic approach to how some noses are done. This is the difference between a good outcome and a phenomenal one in my opinion.
What’s more, my stay at Mount Alvernia hospital was wonderful. The nurses are so friendly and keen to make you as comfortable as possible.
Overall, I experienced no pain, only some discomfort which is to be expected. The whole experience, from start to finish, was way beyond what I could have hoped for. Thank you Mr. Rowe-Jones, Emma and all the team.
