Grateful for Dr Talei!!! I’m only 1 week out but feel so peace and joy that I made the right decision

Almost at 3 months
WORTH IT
Two weeks short of 3 months. My lip is much better. Just slight stiffness but so much improvement from a few weeks ago. I had to share an angle profile. I know the lighting & position is different- but WOW - what an incredible change. My nose looks like a nose & not a shriveled mess. So Thankful for Dr Talei

2 months post lip lift & revision rhino
I’m at the 8 week - 2 month post surgery.
I cannot believe how good it is looking & feeling. At 4 weeks I was getting discouraged with the swelling, but- I knew it’s not until 3 months until you feel better. My upper lip is still hard & slowly getting feeling back. But I finally feel like me.
This surgery & doctor was the best decision ever!! I cannot wait to see what another month will do! Picture of before & now at 2 months.

Looks great! Did he increase the base of your nose/nostrils and alars width using skin graft? Or just use graft on top of your nostrils with look of increased size? Also did he use graft alone the radix upper and lower part of your bridge/nose? Thanks
I'm not sure exactly but he used cadaver bone & scalp cartlidge to rebuild base & septum. I think the cartlidge made a better support so my nostrils didn't collapse & pinch

Revision Rhino & Lip Lift
I’m only 16 days out & have lots of swelling (normal), especially my upper lip. But for 16 days, I’m so happy & relieved. I now have a nose & can breathe. My lip has a lot to go down, which is expected. I’m so thankful for Dr Talei for building me a nose for my face. His slogan is spot on, he loves LA but doesn’t do LA. I struggled with a pinched nose for so long, but not anymore. Dr Talei has a level of care & concern for each patient. I definitely did not feel like just another ‘nose job’. I can’t wait to see how much better it will look in another 16 days.

Thanks so much for posting this! And your description relieves me fear of someone in Beverly Hills treating me like a number. But I love the way he addresses the alae always. Nobody else appears to pay as much attention and hat is my problem area. Thanks again and congratulations!
OMIGOD thank you for sharing your experience with us and offering hope. It is so rare to see a surgeon be able to build a nose back up - and so beautifully. I'm very happy for you. Do you mind telling us how many nasal surgeries you've had before and if Dr. Talei did anything to support thin skin (If your skin is thin, I can't tell). Thank you so much - I currently have a pinched nose and can really use your help!
It's incredible that he was able to build it back up. This was my 3rd revision. My previous revision was 13 years ago & dr used Rib & ear cartlidge. It started to curl, bend, and my nostrils were closing up. Dr Talei planned on a 6 hour surgery but mine took closer to 9 hours. He planned on rib cartilage, but for some reason, I don't have good rib cartlidge. He ended up using cadaver cartlidge & my scalp cartlidge to rebuild my nose. He made it longer & wider to fit my face. I feel like I have thin skin, but he didn't say much about my skin. My nose is so swollen still, but I just can't believe it looks so good. It truly feels like a miracle. I felt like Dr Talei really cared about me & making my nose look good for me. I'm so grateful. Hope that helps.
Very helpful. If he took from your scalp most likely he helped the skin with fascia. Please continue to update us - this is just so hopeful. xx

Is the picture on the left side the 'after'? slightly wider one
It has some asymmetry. I am hopeful it's the swelling. That side I had a lot more swelling & bruising in the beginning. Taping it makes it go down more evenly. It's 3 weeks today, so I have a long way to go.
