He Gave Me my Confidence Back

I originally got my nose done by a well-known surgeon back in January 2023. All I had asked for was for a natural looking nose and instead I got a very upturned nose that did not suit my face. This led to me, losing all my confidence. I couldn’t take one single picture without looking at my nose, and as the months went by my nose, started to collapse fully on the right side. My nostril on my right side was nonexistent to start with so my breathing issues got progressively worse. In October 2024 I decided that it was time for me to get a revision. I reached out to several doctors and had virtual consultations. Dr. Tolga was one of those doctors. He was honestly the only one who spent the time to explain what was going to happen internally to my nose, to take the time to go through all of my concerns and by the end of the call, I just knew that I would go with him. I got revision rhinoplasty with him in November 2024. I had such a smooth process. During our face-to-face in person consultation, we took time to really understand the realistic expectation, but also what I wanted out of the surgery. Everything that we discussed was what I got out of the surgery, he told me straight up don’t expect perfection. I think that really helped me because anyone that’s going in for any procedure especially rhinoplasty needs to understand you’re never going to get the perfect nose because the perfect nose does not exist and if you go in with that expectation you’re going to start fixating on it. I wanted a slight slope, a natural looking nose and most importantly breathability. I got all three things and symmetrical nostrils. I’m a little bit of an anxious person even when they were wheeling me into the operation room, he took time to reassure me, and that says a lot about him. My entire post op process was very smooth I had no issues nor complications. I’m more than a year and a half out and I get compliments on my nose on a regular basis and I could take pictures confidently without thinking of my nose and how it’s going to look. I know it’s said that revision is a lot harder than primary rhinoplasty I honestly thought my revision was easier. My recovery was very easy. I was less swollen this time. I also loved my results from the moment he took off my cast. Overall, I just want to say I’m very very happy.
