Exceeded All my Expectations!

In 2008, I blacked out & hit the ground nose first...subsequently I ended up with a badly broken nose (deviated, collapsed & with a slight hump in my profile). Two NHS operations later (2009/2010), the damage was largely rectified however, my nose lacked symmetry & I still had a slight hump in my profile. Whilst the issues I had with my nose were somewhat subtle, they affected the appearance of my nose/face (and confidence) in quite a significant way. Over the last 9 years, I tried to accept my nose as it was but remained unhappy. I decided that if I were to do anything now (having had x2 previous operations), it absolutely must be with a renowned revision rhinoplasty specialist. I conducted hours of research and decided to consult with Dr Paun.... the BEST decision I ever made!

Dr Paun was very professional & polite; he really took the time to understand my concerns and address any questions I had. I felt very reassured in Dr Paun's honest approach and of course, his obvious wealth of knowledge & expertise... I was decided.

Immediately after my consultation, I called his secretary Mo to schedule my procedure (which Mo kindly managed to arrange for a months time!).

Dr Paul's office insist on a 2nd pre-op consultation. I had read some disgruntled reviews about this requirement and certainly do not share these opinions. Dr Paun's office clearly demonstrate a duty of care towards their patients and are driven by what's best for their patients (hence no marketing, no constant chasing etc). The 2nd consultation has NO additional cost and is for the benefit of the patient to ensure that they have had ample information & time to consider. Dr Paun used the opportunity to ensure that I understood everything and also to demonstrate that he understood exactly what I wanted. He used photo imaging with me to help establish the desired outcome and most importantly, he set realistic expectations with me. As I had already decided to proceed after my first consultation; it would have been easy for the office to by-pass the 2nd consultation & save their time however, I was very grateful to have had more time with Dr Paun pre-op and it certainly assured me that Dr Paun was truly invested in my best interests (which is a rare thing to find these days!).

On the day of the op, Dr Paun came to visit me & have a quick chat. After the op, he came again to make sure that I was doing ok and to let me know how things went.

A week after my operation I had a follow up with Dr Paun which would also involve removing the cast over my nose..... I was extremely nervous!! Whilst I had every confidence in Dr Paun abilities, I couldn't help but worry... what if I didn't like it? what if my nose looked fake or really different to how it was before? I had no reason to fear! Dr Paun removed the cast and all I can say is wow!! I was truly overwhelmed! Dr Paun hit the nail on the head! He delivered exactly what I was after & truly exceeded any expectations I had! Furthermore, swelling and bruising was already minimal - at this stage no one would be able to tell that I had an operation a week ago! This is testament to Dr Paun's ability and skill (and strictly following his aftercare instructions!)

Dr Paun went on to discuss aftercare and insisted that I do not hesitate to get in touch should I have any questions/concerns. A follow up for 2 months has been arranged.

I am absolutely delighted with the outcome & overall experience. I just cannot thank Dr Paun enough! Finally, I can put my insecurities to rest!
