Revision rhinoplasty with Dr Sim

Can not fault. Very down to earth, clearly loves his job! Passionate, thorough and very caring. I am so pleased I made the choice to have revision surgery with Dr Sim. At the time of writing this review I am 7 weeks post op, which is still early days but very happy so far with the whole overall experience!

Some comparison pics
Just want to add my own comparison pics to help anyone who may be researching this doc. There isn’t much about him on RealSelf but he does have Instagram @drsimsway and also a Facebook page Dr. Sim Choroomi- ENT, Plastic Surgery, Wellness. Honestly he is as good as he seems from his social media pages!

Your dr did a good job! Looks fantastic

April 26, 2020
Thank you he's really great :) he fixed all my breathing issues too I was left with from the first surgery!

Looks sooo good. I am also looking at Dr. Choroomi as he seems to have had pretty good training in the US. Can I ask what grafts were used?

April 28, 2020
Yeah, I honestly believe he's the best in Australia... he used grafts from my septum in my Bridge to fix the inverted v deformity I had and he also took cartalidge from my ear to reshape and fix my nostrils :)

Beautiful- can I ask if you're nose feels 'natural', or can you feel the grafts?

April 28, 2020
Feels very natural to me! Can't feel anything different to the first time. Thank you :)

Clinical images
Here are a couple of the before and after images taken in Dr Choroomi’s office. My previous surgeon left my nostril area a bit worse for wear!! You can find details on my previous review of first rhinoplasty & surgeon. If anyone has any questions feel free, happy to help.

Your new nose is beautiful! I even saved it as my wish picture. Congratulations! Do you know surgical details? Were your bones rebroken again in this surgery.? Did your surgeon de-rotated your tip? Do you know what he did with your nostril? Alar rum grafts using ear cartilage? If you could share any details, it would be great.

Hello, thanks for your comment! I am so pleased with the results :) so from what I'm aware, he didn't need to break any bones, but he did de-rotate the tip a little to bring it down as it was lifted too high for my liking before. He used grafts from my ear in my nostrils and grafts from my septum to level out my Bridge. Not sure what the grafts are called exactly but that's what I know :)

Thank you for answering my question! Please update us in several months how things are going.

How is your ear? Is it noticeable that a graft was taken? Did it hurt?

April 29, 2020
Yeah ear is fine, you can't really see it there's a cut behind and a cut inside by the upper crease, i was pretty drugged up so when I came out from surgery I didn't notice I'd forgot I had my ear done then when I touched it it was full of blood haha... but it was only a little painful when the pain meds wore off and if I put pressure on it so just avoided the area for a few weeks

Your nose looks great for being a month out. And thanks for posting clinical photos, they're helpful to see real changes.

Groundhog, she actually says it is 7 weeks but still very early in recovery. I was
swollen for many months after the primary. I see you a lot on the revision section - it looks like you follow it regularly. Which Docs in the States you saw giving good results with de-rotating and improving the nostril show.
