Wish I Would Have Gone to Dr Reish First!

My nose has always been a source of unhappiness since I was in my teens. I finally decided to have a Rhinoplasty, which was done in 2017 (by another NYC surgeon). I explained numerous times that I wanted a slight lift to the tip of my nose and to remove the slight hump. I just remember the day the splint was removed and just feeling disappointed. My nose didn’t appear to be lifted at all and there was still a bit of a bump there (on top of all of the swelling), it wasn’t the prettier nose I was hoping for. But I was assured that when the swelling went away, I would be happier with the result.
Fast forward 3 years, and though the swelling had completely subsided, my nose still drooped, especially when I smiled and the slight hump was still there. I feel like my nose looked the same! So I decided to try again and hopefully get the results I was looking for. I had a prior surgery through the LIPSG that I was very happy with, and I found Dr. Reish through them. He appeared to be an expert at revisions, and after looking at his before and afters, he really created beautiful noses that fit each patients face. Making the appointment was super easy. Because of Covid, all of my pre-surgical appointments were virtual, though we spent extra time right before the surgery going over everything that I was looking to have done. He seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. But I still would send over emails or texts with pictures and reiterating what I was looking for, just because I was still very nervous, since I was only looking for minor updates and didn’t want to end up looking like a had too much plastic surgery! But I trusted Dr Reish, he was super patient and very responsive and reassuring that I’d end up with a great result.
It is now almost 2 weeks post surgery and I couldn’t be happier! It looks exactly like what I was hoping for, even with all the swelling, so I know over time it’s going to look even better. It’s now cute and more feminine and totally fits my face. I keep looking at myself in the mirror, I’m so excited about the results! My only regret is that I didn’t have Dr Reish do my surgery initially.
