After interviewing several highly regarded rhinoplasty specialists in the Los Angeles area, I chose Dr. Lahar for my revision rhinoplasty and I could not be more grateful that I did. Revision rhinoplasty is one of the most technically complex procedures in plastic surgery and mine was particularly complicated. Every other surgeon I consulted told me they would need to harvest rib cartilage to address my case. Dr. Lahar was the only one who had the skill, vision and confidence to tell me he could achieve the result I was looking for without it. He was right.
The results speak for themselves. I came out of surgery feeling remarkably well, experienced virtually zero pain, took prescription pain medication for only one day and transitioned to Tylenol Extra Strength after that and had minimal bruising that resolved quickly. Within days I was receiving compliments everywhere I went and I am only weeks out from a major revision procedure. That is a testament to the precision and artistry of Dr. Lahar’s work.

A word of caution to anyone considering rhinoplasty. My first rhinoplasty is a cautionary tale of what can happen when you choose the wrong surgeon, whether because you did not do adequate research or because you were trying to save money. I ended up needing a complex and costly revision that was far more time consuming than my original procedure. Please learn from my experience. Do not cut corners when it comes to your face. The cost of fixing a poor result is always greater than the cost of doing it right the first time. Save yourself the time, the money and the heartache by choosing the right surgeon from the very beginning. Dr. Lahar is that surgeon. After 27 years with a nose I was unhappy with, I finally have the nose of my dreams thanks to Dr. Lahar’s impeccable work.
Dr. Lahar was also able to perform a lower bleph and fat grafting during the same procedure to resolve for under eye hallow and the combo procedure looks beautiful.
