Highly Recommend Dr Kadri Illa (ENT) - Restored Full Nasal Functionality with Great Aesthetic Result
I have nothing but praise for Dr Kadri Illa and his Vanity team in Istanbul. I had reconstructive revision rhinoplasty a few weeks ago with Dr Kadri Illa through Vanity. I had an accident which broke the nose in 2015 and caused significant tissue damage and deviated the septum. (I had initial surgery in 2017 in Sydney, Australia to try to repair the damage but the Australian surgeon botched the procedure and left my nose deformed and with loss of function.)
Dr Illa not only had to rebuild my nasal structure but also undo the damage caused by the previous surgeon. And he did it with such humility and grace. Dr Illa restored full functionality with no complications and gave me an aesthetic pleasing nose that compliments my face. Dr Illa is an expert ENT/ Otolaryngologist and a leading expert in his field. He speaks English, is an Associate-Professor in his field with mentionable academic papers in otolaryngology. He is honestly the most humble doctor I have ever met.
I was incredibly nervous going in, but Dr Illa and his team made me feel safe and secure the entire time. I felt completely supported. Tuba was my consultant, she was polite, thorough and committed. She provided me with detailed information and maintained contact. She even came to see me after my surgery. I also had a patient concierge – Aleyna who is also a medical professional in the field of Physiotherapy. Aleyna was my support person and literally held my hand during surgical prep. She checked in on me during my recovery and provided me with everything I needed to heal post-surgery.
The entire Vanity team were professional, courteous, supportive and respectful through the entire process and I would recommend Dr Kadri Illa 100 times over for anything nose related.
For background and context - I had initial septo-rhinoplasty in Sydney, Australia with surgeon (Arjuna Ananda) who was supposed to be a leading ENT. He was not. Instead, he completely deformed my nose, caused major scarring, further tissue damage and loss of function. I suffered haemorrhaging and landed back in hospital for almost two weeks for post-surgical treatment and I never saw him again. He palmed me off onto his resident after having me transferred from hospital to hospital.
