Could Not Be Happier...
WORTH IT
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Rahban. I had revision rhinoplasty completed in August 2020, and could not be happier with my results. My story…
I had my first “nose job” at 18, and I had no idea what questions to ask, or what to look for in a surgeon. I’ve never been thrilled with the results, but the past couple years I noticed my breathing had deteriorated and my nose was definitely crooked. I casually did consultations with a few surgeons before reading reviews, and scheduling an appointment with Dr. Rahban. What I liked:
- He was very direct and very thorough in his explanation regarding what I needed done to fix both my breathing and the aesthetics of my nose.
- He did not do digital imaging, which I appreciated, as from my first experience I knew that was just a sales tool and not realistic
- He was not salesy, even gave me advice on what questions to ask other surgeons I might talk to
A couple months after my first consultation, I decided to move forward with surgery. During my pre-op, he was just as thorough, taking time to answer any questions I had and being clear about expectations post surgery.
The day of the surgery, I saw Dr. Rahban before we began, and I also remember loving his anesthesiologist. She was so lovely, and of course I was nervous, but she put me at ease.
My surgery took quite a bit of time as there was a lot of work to be done. Recovery was uncomfortable, but not painful, and I hardly bruised (though I don’t easily bruise). The discomfort was from having packing in my nose for two weeks, which is just part of the process. After two weeks, I was extremely satisfied with the results. The tip was lifted, I could breathe, and my nose was finally straight! I’m sitting here nearly 9 months after surgery, and I still have a little scar tissue buildup and some internal swelling, but nothing noticeable. I look forward to continuing this process, and recommend anyone looking for revision rhinoplasty to see Dr. Rahban.
