I Had a Bad Revision Rhinoplasty Experience and Nana Plastic Surgery Delete Negative Reviews
This company removes negative reviews. Please be careful, because this is deceptive.
I had a terrible experience with Docfinderkorea and with Nana plastic surgery hospital, who Docfinderkorea recommended.
Firstly, I approached Docfinderkorea to remove 2 rib cartilage implant graphs from my nose from my primary rhinoplasty. A previous Dr had added too much rib cartilage to transform my flat African nose into a bulbous pointed upturned European/Caucasian style nose. My nose bridge was very high and it was pointed upwards and lengthened to create a European Roman shape. This needed to be reversed. I showed Docfinderkorea and Nana Plastic Surgery photos of my flat African birth nose and asked if they could achieve a low nose bridge and flat tip shape similar to my photos. Dr Lee Kwang said yes this is possible and that we can achieve a flat shape which is “80%” similar to my birth nose. He agreed to remove the columella and nose bridge implants to achieve a flat low shape.
So I flew from the UK to Seoul.
Secondly, after the surgery was over I noticed that my nose bridge was still high and that my septum/columella was still long, but I thought it was just swelling. I waited 2 months but I noticed that the shape of my nose is the same and that I could still feel the hard rib cartilage graphs inside my septum/columella. I asked for an operational report from nana hospital and it showed that Dr Kwang wrote that a balanced columella strut graph is still inside my nose, which unfortunately kept the long pointed upturned shape exactly the same. I was devastated because the whole point of me paying Docfinderkorea and Nana plastic surgery was to remove the implants to achieve a more natural flat wide African shape.
Thirdly, You will also have zero direct communication with your actual surgeon who did your surgery, after your operation, which is rather scary.
Save up for longer and go to a board and FACS certified ENT surgeon in the USA. I had consultations there and they are more professional in their approach. I regret choosing Docfinderkorea Korea over this amazing Surgeon I spoke to in Washington DC. I also have worse breathing now.
Docfinderkorea and Nana plastic surgery are good at marketing themselves on to people from western countries, on YouTube and social media, but they delete negative review comments, so be careful. They are very unprofessional in reality.
This company behaved like a social media influencer company more then a formal hospital. It is shocking how childish and unprofessional their communication style is. They will only communicate with you on whatsap or kakao chat with loads of emojis. They keep sending me condescending watering eye emojis like this one they are not professional like the serious hospitals in America.
They have not given me a solution to this problem or a partial refund.
I am devastated with the bad outcome of the service I paid them for, because I did not receive what I discussed with Dr Kwang. I spoke to Drs in England and they said more could have been done to restore my original flat low African nose shape and that “leaving in the columella implant is unacceptable.”
