Amazing, Gave Me my Life Back
WORTH IT
I am 8 days post-op from a complex revision rhinoplasty (4th) with Dr. Reish. While I am extremely swollen and cannot speak to my final results this early, I can already see the foundation of what he accomplished. My bridge is pin-straight, and my entire left side—which was previously severely collapsed and indented—has been completely reconstructed and regrafted. I also had ZERO airway due to the collapse of my nose and a deviated septum, and he addressed both. At only 8 days post-op, with significant internal swelling still present, I am already breathing beautifully. I genuinely cannot imagine how well I will breathe once the swelling subsides. I have a long healing journey ahead of me, but having access to my Doctor makes me feel a lot more at ease as I go on this journey with him. I plan on posting my entire journey/story (because it’s a unique one) on my Instagram (@szmmm_) around the 4-6mo mark to show what Dr Reish has done for me!
Before Dr. Reish, I had a completely botched nose. My left side was sunken and collapsed, my nostrils were two different shapes and sizes, and I could barely breathe. I didn’t live my life for 8 months and was in a very, very dark place. Dr. Reish was the ONLY surgeon willing to truly hear me out before the traditional one-year mark. My case was severe enough that I was offered revision at 8 months, because YES, there are unique cases like mine, and doctors should behave more like Dr Reish - assess the patient before turning them away because of a traditional timeline that might not apply to them. In my eyes, he acted on his oath as a Physician just as a Physician should. Having a doctor willing to assess me, listen to me, and give me a plan when I felt like nobody else would hear me out, gave me hope and saved me during one of the darkest periods of my life. I wouldn’t have made it without him.
Thank you so much, Dr. Reish. You gave me hope when I had very little left, and I truly feel like you gave me my life back. I will never forget what you’ve done for me. I look forward to being on this journey with you.
