How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

The after effect
Hey Real seller’s!
I thought I would share an after picture! Now that the swelling has subsided, so has the pout! At first, I was like, maybe I should have stopped when she (the professional) asked me; however I’m glad I didn’t. I actually want a little more.

Hey guys!
Here’s more of a visual for you of the House of Modern Beauty in NYC! Pros: Great services and material about anything you wanted that was being rendered
Cons: I wish people would have taken our information directly for follow ups or recommendations of services in this area. I guess my friend and I were dressed a little too comfortable. We were constantly overlooked at certain information tables. I’m guessing because of our appearance! My friend is a 6 plus figure earner and is interested in cosmetic surgery after seeing me get a couple of things done. I honestly believe you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover! Plus we traveled 4 hours at 2:25 am to make it there. At certain tables we waited at, we weren’t properly acknowledged and I was completely overlooked at the emsculpt sign in process due to another Vip acting as if it was all about her until I spoke up for myself. Although we experienced some rudeness, I would still recommend people to attend.

House of Modern Beauty NYC
Hey Real selfer's!
I'm here to share my house of modern beauty experience with you! Ok... Here we go! I was thrilled when I learned that NYC was one of the stops on the three city house of beauty tour. Although, I would have preferred Washington, D.C to be a stop; NYC was a great travel option!
Leading up to the date, information was somewhat scarce. I really wanted to chose emsculpt as a treatment; however due to the fact that I have paraguard ( a copper iud) I wasn't able to indulge. I didn't find out this information until a couple of days before the event. The other piece of scarce information that was disclosed closer to the date was if you bought a plus one, they had to pay!
We arrived about 10:30 am on Saturday, December 7th. I had put in the survey prior to coming that I had a plus one with me, somehow that information didn't make the final cut. Although, I paid for my friend to attend on eventbrite; she should have been able to go upstairs with me but wasn't. No biggie.. She patiently waited while I went upstairs and checked in. At arrival we were given goodie bags and told to the right is for face and to the left is for body! I immediately went to the face side because I have been wanting restylane injected into my upper lip for at least a year. As I approached the injectible area, I had to fill out some health information and sign disclosures. No problem! I was recommended to let Hilda..( I think that was her name) inject my lip. She was amazing, on point, and extremely nice!
I received this complimentary treatment at the RealSelf House of Modern Beauty.
