I had restylane injected under my eyes and months after I still have puffy eyes, a visible lump under one eye and a less visible under the other but still visible as well and eye bags. l look like I badly aged and it makes me look tired. I tried to reverse it w/ hyaluronidase unfortunately the lump and puffiness is still there. Its been over 8 months.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you. It happened to me too and dark streaks/pufiness from the filler horrified me enough to jump into eyelid surgery to try to fix my under eyes once and for all (don't everrrr do that please, you don't need it & have such amazing eyes). My eyes looked exactly like yours after filler, and the doctor had the audacity to try to convince me it was my "muscle" or big veins showing through and that it was there before the filler. Trust me, it's definitely not dissolved, there's still plenty left under your eyes. I'm 15 months post under eye restylane (Tried dissolving once), and the puffiness has gone and the discoloration got somewhat better, but the blueish tinge is still there. This crap lasts years and years under the eyes regardless of what any doctor tells you. The only hope we have to get rid of the discoloration in the near future is to be brave and keep dissolving it. It is extremely frustrating to waste all this money and self esteem on a treatment that was supposed to make us feel better ... In my experience, it will take a lot more than 1 time to dissolve filler. It's super stubborn, especially under the eyes. I would find an oculoplastic surgeon to dissolve it, they will know where its placed better than your other doctor did. I am going to try to dissolve the rest this month, I'll let you know if it works. I also am from California and will let you know if I find a good doctor to dissolve it all. Please remember during this time that you are absolutely stunning even with the filler mishap, and to be honest if I saw you out in public I would hardcore stare because you literally look like a movie star. Good luck to you beautiful!

Thanks so much for your kind words and for sharing your story. Makes me feel good after this awful experience. Some days my lump looks more swollen than other days. I spoke to other women about my experience & this kind lady that just had eye lid procedure shared w/ me her ‘oculoplastic’ info. His name is ‘Kami parsa’ in Beverly Hills. I like that he mostly specializes in eyes. I re searched him too. I will pay him a visit for a more comprehensive opinion and I will go from there. I have been researching doctors after my awful experience and I will never ever rush again. I was really stupid to have given my face to that dermatologist that screw over ‘gene Rubinstein’. I was told I was not the only one so he isn’t good w/ injections. I really hope for all the best for you too.

PM me if you want an oculo reco in Beverly Hills. I've been to the one you mentioned above.

My eyes are like yours. I have major discoloration and a dark vein under the right eye that wasn't there before. The entry point of the injection left 2 round discoloration. It's been 6 weeks and I wear heavy make up and still can see the faint dark marks. They should outlaw this in the eye trough area completely. I don't dare to get it dissolved. There are plenty of horror stories out there that the substance will dissolve your own fat and HA and creating hollowness that will need surgery or fillers. My injector swore that my vein was always there but I never noticed. I look into the rear view mirror everyday to check my make up. I know it was not there before. I am quite freakish under florescent lighting.

Was wondering how your fillers are doing now? I'm 6 weeks out from my procedure in NYC by an oculoplastic surgeon, also had a dark vein surface under one eye afterwards, and now have lumps under each eye, like the original poster's pics here, but mine are much worse. Debating trying dissolving the filler with a different doctor but am worried about looking worse, as you mentioned.

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry that you both had that bad experience with this treatment... I also had this done but I have any crazy After Effects and I am Overjoyed with the results that I got. I did 5 consultations with different doctors. The first person who did mine was a plastic surgeon and I had it touched up about 3 years later and I went to a nurse injector who had done a couple of my friends with great results. She was the best! I tell people just because they are a plastic surgeon or an MD doesn't mean they are going to do the best job. These nurse injectors do this day in and day out and the girl I go to is super educated and she trains other people to do this. She is super conservative and doesn't overfill. Maybe that was part of the problem that you guys got overfilled and it wasn't deep enough which has caused the lumps? I do know some people can get away with doing filler and other people do need a lower blepharoplasty depending on what is causing the under eye bags in the first place. Please keep us posted on both of your recovery with this! I would definitely seek out some advice from some other doctors as well

Hi there! Just wondering how things are now? One month post Restylane injections, I have a lump that looks exactly like yours (same position and shape).

georgey66 my filler lumps look exactly like that too. How are you progressing since April? I'm only 6 weeks out.

I had the same puffy line after filler in the trough. My Nurse practitioner who did the procedure told me I needed more as we had gone conservatively the first time. After the touch ups, the result was much better. Good luck!
