Two weeks ago, I completed my third full face treatment with Morpheus8. I am a 56yo man whose concerns included sagging facial skin and skin tone. I've seen a noticeable improvement in both my skin tone and skin tightening on my face. For a treatment that is reasonably quick and had no downtime, I am more than happy with the results. Jessica Kramer, PA-C administered the procedure and was a rock star. Her bedside manner and skill level are top notch. I highly recommend both Jessica and Morpheus8.
I went to Dr. R. several years ago to see what I can do to improve my skin and redness knowing that his recommendations tend to be more on the conservative/natural spectrum (heard from friends.) On my first visit, he noticed that I have a lazy eye and asked if I would be interested in getting Botox to prevent my eye from squinting. Within a week, people (including family) stopped asking what was wrong with my eye! WOW!!! He made an amazing discovery and I have been doing Botox 2x per year ever since. So, back to my face! Dr. R. periodically does laser resurfacing and other treatments for my face. I also do laser hair removal with Heidi, and it's painless and permanent. Dr. R and Eric, his PA, and Heidi, and his office staff are always professional and only recommend necessary treatments. Dr. R. makes his patients feel special and loves to share personal stories, like becoming a vegan and various interesting travels. His office invests in the latest and newest equipment and treatment and techniques and is always a plethora of information.
I have deep scaring on my checks from years of acne. It makes my face look uneven and tired. My acne is now gone and so my dermatologist wanted to inject me with Restylane to help pump up the depressions. I read some reviews online that suggested icing the area for 20 or so minutes before going to the appointment so I did that. When I went into the Drs. office they applied numbing cream and did the injections. I couldn't feel most of them, but even the ones I could feel didn't hurt. I had no bruising and a very small amount of swelling- in fact I was the only one who could notice any swelling. My scars looked great! My skin wasn't perfect, but it was MUCH better than when I walked in to my appointment. Unfortunately it didn't last long. Most of my scars are on my laugh lines so in some spots it lasted only 1 month and a some other scars are still filled in 3 months later. So I'll say this If you have the money to get injected a few times a year then do it! It may not be worth the money if you can't keep up with it. It cost $500 for 1 syringe. Updated on 12 Jun 2014: Since January I've had 1 and 1/2 syringes for my deep acne scaring. The first syringe was over two sessions and the second (only half) was over three sessions. For the first time in years my skin looks great! My skin looks and feels even in all lighting and my makeup goes on smooth. I know its not a permeant solution, but I'm very happy with the results I have!
I had Ulthera or Ultherapy in March. Took about three months to see results. But my neck kept getting better until 6 months. The loose skin is tighter and my jowels are less pronounced. I'm in my mid 40's. My mom is on her 60's and is also happy with her results. She did the upper face too and I see a huge improvement. She has a lift of the upper lids too. She's thrilled.
I got the procedure done one month ago and I am very happy with the results. A little under my eyes and around my mouth makes a difference. I am 34 and did not think I need it but am glad I did it. I would recommend this procedure to anyone.
I went to see Dr. Rubinstein 2 years ago for lip filler. I was trying to shape my lips because one side was thinner than the other. I was scared to do too much, so we agreed he would use 1/2 syringe. I left and the side he worked on was massive and it did not go down. I called to discuss. He had me come back and without really discussing it just used the rest of the syringe to pump up the rest of my lips to match. I literally had a lisp for weeks because there was what felt like a hard ball in my upper lip. I went back yet again and he said he thought it looked great and gave me a sample of some cream product that did nothing. 2 years later I STILL have remnants of the filler he used in my lips. I'm not sure if he used an inappropriate filler or what, but it was super hard and he did not massage or shape my lips at all throughout the whole process. Awful.
I had restylane injected under my eyes and months after I still have puffy eyes, a visible lump under one eye and a less visible under the other but still visible as well and eye bags. l look like I badly aged and it makes me look tired. I tried to reverse it w/ hyaluronidase unfortunately the lump and puffiness is still there. Its been over 8 months.
Hello everyone It's my first time I want to write a review but it's really bad experience with this (doctor) He injected me in the face botox and fillers in my face that make my face looks bad older and more wrinkles around my eyes, I really hate to look of my self and I can't laugh any more because if I laugh I look like joker and very strange and weird, it's terrible feeling , he just destroy my face and health with these fillers and I got botolunium toxic witch Make me sick for more than one month I hope this filler goes away as fast as possible and back to how I look before normal with little skinny but look natural and not strange and weird and I can't laugh because of this dr and I don't know how he can be doctor just can make people look worse only to take in few minutes 2300 usd and that's what these people care and they don't even tell you that you might have some side effects of these botox that can make you sick for long period of time. By the way I didn't see at all what he inject to my face and how much because he didn't show me he just started to inject and done after 5 min . I would not recommend any one to have any botox especially with this man . Try to feel good without these filler that will make you look worse and sick. Stay away from this doctor, I can send you my horrible picture in personal after he inject these fillers into my face.
Cosmelan is amazing and worth it. I have tried so much and just wasted money. Clear and Brilliant, waste. IPL, waste. VBeam, waste. This is my third time doing cosmelan in the last 10 years and I likely didn't have to do it this last time, but I love the glow in my skin after and I get so many compliments that I did it again. I also didn't keep up with the Cosmelan 2. The first 2 times were after pregnancies. The results are amazing. The recovery is no joke. I keep in it on for 10 hours. I am very swollen and red the next day. The following day, less red but still swollen. I look like I went skiing. And today, which the 3 days post, I am peeling like crazy. I also did it on my chest this time which I have never done before and I have yet to peel there. I don't know how this product works on the chest as of yet, but on the face, it is the best. I highly recommend and I will only use the the original formula. Set aside 5 to 7 days of downtime- unless you comfortable going to work with skin peeling off your face Updated on 8 Jan 2017: It is 5 days post and yesterday the peeling seemed to stop but today it was peeling a lot. There is no way I could put makeup on at this point. My chest started peeling too. Took a little longer than the face. My face looks amazing already. I can't figure out the chest yet. It is very red and too early to tell.
Did the clear and brilliant on the highest setting. The recovery was non existent and so were the results. Not to any fault of my doctor (he is amazing and I continue to do other treatments there), I just think this product is too tame for me. I used numbing cream so it didn't hurt at all and then it just felt like there was sand on my face for about a week. I was so hoping that when the sand came off there would be great new skin under but NADA. No results. This may be a great laser is you don't do anything to your skin but I do micro dermabrasion and facials every 6 weeks and I use retin A and I have a full regiment. I can see this impressing someone that doesn't do anything and they do this a week before an event for a slight glow. Otherwise, I would pass.
I do see many men with this type of line in my practice. It is caused by a combination of anatomical factors, and a combined approach is often needed to address the issue. I use botulinum toxins such as Botox and Dysport, combined with hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm. It's best to start with the toxins and see if the line improves within 3 months, then add fillers if needed. In addition, when the line is deep, laser resurfacing may also be needed.
