Where are my workout girls???
LemonGingerOctober 26, 2017
WORTH IT$17,800
I took that leg and butt class on Monday and I'm still sore! Barely can sit on the toilet! But what worries me is that my tummy is still swollen. Is this expected? I know I've read people getting swollen at night because of being active during the day, but I figured the swelling went away by the morning.
Advice or personal experiences would be appreciated :)

Holding off silicone experiment
LemonGingerOctober 23, 2017
Hey ladies! I was going to start my silicone vs tape excitement yesterday but... my wound doesn't seem to be 100% healed yet, so I'm holding off. I've been airing it out, putting neosproin on it... but there's still white. I emailed the nurse to see what they say.
I went back to the gym today. Took a class that focuses only on legs and butt. My body felt pretty good, except for planks, so I'm definitely holding off on any ab work. It's been 7 hours since the class and my tummy is really swollen so I'm icing it.
I wanted to do a side by side photo with the bikini, but I must have erased it from my phone. The before picture is in a previous post though. Right now, the ONLY small thing I am disappointed in is the lipo in my inner thighs...i don't really see a difference but it's totally ok because he lipo-ed my bra fat, removed a skin tag, and I think he lipo-ed my mons :)
Anyway, hope everyone is healing :)

That suit looks great on you!! Probably a good idea to wait on the experiment until it is all healed up. Don't want to open anything back up with tape

I second md73, that suit looks great on you! Your bb is so cute and perfect (I know I've told you this before lol I'm obsessed with how perfect yours is). Happy healing!
October 24, 2017
Lol thank you for loving my bb so much! I never appreciated it until you said something about it in an earlier post. Apparently, I'm still a little swollen, but when that goes down, my bb is supposed to open up a bit :)
October 24, 2017
Haha, I'm always happy to make you feel good about your bb! I was watching different videos about tummy tuck bb's after my procedure and one PS said it perfectly and it made so much sense, he said, women are told to wear vertical stripes because it has a slimming effect and that's why he does a more vertical shaped bb and it comes out sexier and slimmer. I was kicking myself that I hadn't watched it before my procedure and asked my PS about it. Lol. You have that perfect shape, slimming and sexy bb. You are gonna rock bikini season this year!

That does make sense! Lol maybe my left over stretch marks will have the same effect. Wishful thinking ;)

You look fantastic in that suit! Sorry about your wound :/
I had a small wound on my breast like 1 month in, I was told no Neosporin. Everyone different, I just took showers with hibiclens anti bacterial, made sure it was thoroughly dry, gauze and it healed in about 2 weeks. Hope you heal soon❤

I got this wound about a month PO. Yesterday morning, I emailed the coordinator to get the nurse's email so I could send a picture, but she hasn't gotten back to me. I might have to call... but in the mean time, ill stop using neosporin. Thanks for sharing :) This wound is making me feel so un-sexy so I need it healed ASAP lol

Hopefully you'll get answers soon, yeah, I put neo once and the wound looked worse and slimy and I freaked out. I had read on here some of the girls were told not to use it, BUT having said that, talk to your ps office and see what they say. Good luck girl, your still sexy, only you and hubby can see, oh and us, but we don't judge :)
October 27, 2017
Agreed, talk to ur PS, but like Momof3 I've heard that keeping it dry is the best way to go. I've been doing the hibiclens from day one and *knocks on wood* I've had no issues. I would def recommend it. Also I've heard betadine for the wounds is good BC it's dryer and will give you that anti bacterial protection for healing. Good luck LG! Let us know what ur PS says and how the wound resolves.

From my experience the best thing to do is keep it dry just cover it with gauze . You can use Hibiclens to clean it but don’t clean inside of the wound clean around it. It will eventually heal it takes time because you’re healing from the inside out.

Almost 1 month

I had to had to have my 1 month post op today because he is going to be in surgery later this week. He still loves my curves and cleared me for basically everything except ab workouts. Even sex.. but apparently, I could've had that earlier, if I was feeling up to it...I'm making an executive decision and not telling my husband this tid bit of info lol.
Scar therapy is up to me and isn't 100% certain that it's guaranteed to work so he asked me if I would experiment and I said sure. So... for the next 6 weeks or so (starting Sunday, I'm only going to use silicone gel (NewGel) on my left side and use just the paper tape on my right. I bought the gel from the doc office and will get the silicone strips (Mepitac) off of Amazon, recommended by the best nurse in the world Tiara :)
I'm also starting Sunday because my right breast t-incision needs some Neosporin and oxygen to heal... it should only take a few days because it's like a scrape - no nerves exposed or anything like that. Dr. Sigal was impressed that this was the only issue I had.
I have feeling in my right nipple and not my left...Tiara said it could take up to a year! Sometimes the feeling changes from nipple to nipple. I just hope i get feeling back!
