It looks natural and has improved my appearance

I saw Dr. Kwon for Renuva this Tuesday in Beverly Hills. I received a full fat transfer from Dr. Bates in San Jose 6 months ago and I noticed that the divot in my left cheek caused by years of Ultrasound treatments was still there but smaller. I didn't want another painful fat transfer because it entails liposuction which I am still healing from (the entry point of the liposuction was sore for months).

After my fat transfer with Dr. Bates, the corners of my mouth had lines that deepened. The procedure was more painful than expected, probably due to the resistance of scar tissue from both the ultrasound treatments and fat transfer, but Dr. Kwon was very patient and gave me many breaks to rest. I almost wanted to stop mid-treatment due to pain.

The placement of the Renuva done by Dr. Kwon corrected my concerns (Dr. Kwon added Renuva to my nasolabial folds at my last minute request to correct my mouth's corner lines at the beginning of treatment). It's been 4 days and I am still pleased with the results. It looks natural and has improved my appearance and has corrected my previous fat transfer divots.

Dr. Kwon has a wonderful aesthetic and precise skills that can be seen from the placement of the Renuva. Of all the plastic surgeons I have encountered (most of them at the top of their field or a previous professor), Dr. Kwon has the most down to earth and authentic personality I have come across which makes a big difference when it comes to trusting a medical provider. I'm referring all my friends to him.

I'm very happy with my Renuva treatment and the results so far. I was not swollen and bruising was barely noticeable on one cheek but Dr. Kwon had to do one of four injections in ten seconds because I was so afraid of the pain. There was no discomfort after. It's amazing that there is almost no evidence of the injections whereas my fat graft with Dr. Bates left me bruised and sore for months. Dr. Kwon has a gentle hand. I even got a root canal the very next morning and had no problems with the Renuva injections feeling tender.
