I Am Happy Again...

TheOne1978
WORTH IT$1,200
A giant lipoma appeared on my right hip 4 years ago but I didn't do anything about it back then. Last year I decided it to remove it with liposuction. I went to a different doctor office located in PA for the procedure, I guess I didn't do my home work and didn't know all the consequences of a bad liposuction, so I ended up botched with a dent. That was 8 months ago. I actually was depressed for few months after the botched liposuction.
After over 6 months of online research, I decided to use renuva to fix dent because I was so scared of going through another liposuction and risk another botched area. So I selected PSANJ because I felt really comfortable there during the consultation.
Amber Nigam, PA ( the nice lady who did the injection) did a great job, she saved my body and life, I actually was crying of happiness when I got home after the procedure.
I am so thankful to her and her office for giving me my life back.
The injection was more painful than what I thought tho but the area is healing nicely.
I will probably need a second session because some of Renuva will die or absorbed by the body.

i hope it stays. did they meet a lot for that area? how much did they charge
May 12, 2021
They needed 1.5 cc for the first session, will need another 1.5 cc for second one. It costs $800 for 1.5 cc which is not bad, at least I don’t have to go through a liposuction again.

I’m so glad I came across your post! Can I ask who u saw and at what office? What’s the difference between the wet and dry? I have a very large area I need to fix that has me so depressed.. can’t where tight cloths, bathing suite or anything but I’m to thin for fat transfer

I can't wait to be able to travel to US for my Renuva treatment. I have 4 shallow dents on my inner and outer thighs I need to still fill in as well. I would never go through liposuction again either. Did you get the hydrated one, Renuva HD?

What’s the difference between the hydrated one? Is the US the only place that does this? I have a large area all over my hip, butt and thigh I have to fix so I was thinking I could find it cheaper in another country bc I need like 600cc to completely fix my missing fat..and I’m to thin for fat transfer

Hi! did you get renuva for the dents?
May 13, 2021
Hi there, the renuva they used was a dry 1.5 cc, they added at least the same amount of saline so the total was at least 3 cc solution. In my case that was more than enough for the first session. So to answer your question, it was 1.5 cc dry ( about 3 cc or more mixed). Also, I would like to add that I interviewed top doctors in Philadelphia area, but felt more comfortable with a physician assistant to do the revision, It’s not about their degrees, it’s about their SKILLS. Some doctors made it sound so complicated to fix, some didn’t even care about helping because it’s a small area. I was botched by a doctor but fixed by a physician assistant with intensive injection history and skills who really cared. Skills matter!!

I totally agree. I am also looking for an injector with lots of experience with fillers and don't mind seeing a nurse for my treatment.
The reason I asked about what kind of Renuva you got was because I was told it could be mixed with saline and also some lidocaine can be added for pain management. I thought you should know in case you need a 2nd treatment.

They put some numbing cream before injection so the injection wasn’t too bad.
It’s the 3-4 days after, the area was so painful to the touch that I couldn’t let me clothes touch the area.

Renuva update

TheOne1978
So here is an update at about 12 weeks after first injection: I see a settle improvement, very settle, I still can clearly see the dent but it’s not as deep as before. I think I will need more than 2 sessions which is expected. I was hoping to get at least %50 improvement but I certainly didn’t get that.
I went today for my second session of Renuva. It was already hydrated this time.
We discussed first session results with my injector, she thinks it improved by only %25 ( not the typical %50) she said because the damaged area was too thin ( too damaged, it was almost paper thin when I squeezed it), there isn’t much fat left there, she said first session was building a base for renuva. I am hoping 2nd session will give me much better results than first session.

I meant subtle improvement..

Was there scar tissue in the area prior to treatment? I wonder if that also impacts results.
July 24, 2021
No scar tissue, just very egressive liposuction

Hello. Thanks for sharing. Really appreciate the update as I am scheduled for my Renuva treatment in August.
I had a fat transfer as part of a revision liposuction and trust me 25% retained volume is what you get with this process as well. I would take Renuva any day over another lipo.

You’re welcome. I agree with you, I will never go through another liposuction again!!!
I hope your results will be great!

I've had Renuva 3 times and my experience has been that less than 10% of the filling actually stays at the 6 month mark. Far too many reviews and pictures are taken in the first week. Even the advertisements. They are misleading to say the least.

Renuva update

TheOne1978
Just wanted to post a quick Renuva update after second session. I believe second session worked much better than first session. Its been a little over 6 weeks, by this time the first session dissipated almost completely and I thought Renuva didn't work at all. Second session at 6 weeks seemed to be working much better.
I attached a comparison photo of my dent from front. Left side is before any renuva treatment, right is after 2 sessions of Renuva ( 6 weeks after second session). Also, discoloration from liposuction improved significantly.
Dont get me wrong, I still can see dent but its not as bad as before. I believe I am now at a total of %50-60 improvement. I hope third session will give the smooth finish that I want. But will see if forth session is needed.
I will add an update 3 months after 2nd session/ before third session of Renuva later.

wow! amazing results!

Hi. It looks almost perfect again. So grateful for your posts/ updates. I had my Renuva treatment for inner thigh irregularities 4 weeks ago. I would say 50% of the product is gone already, but I expected this result. I had no fat left in those dents. Hoping for a better improvement with the 2nd treatment in a couple of months. Expensive though.
September 16, 2021
It is expensive! Some plastic surgeons mix it with scluptra, I think it’s cheaper this way and you get better results. I hope you retain the %50 improvement so far.
To be honest I didn’t see any change after the 6-7 week mark, I thought it was supposed to populate with your own fat but I don’t think that happened with me. At 6-7 weeks; what you see is what you get! I don’t think it works differently than typical fat transfer. But maybe I am wrong!!
Please consider adding a renuva review to help those who got botched like us.
September 17, 2021
I will definitely add a review at 3 month mark.

Hi, did you undergo the second treatment?
