Very good results - achieved my realistic best-case expectations

I am writing this review to help others make a decision regarding their cosmetic surgery physician. I have not been given or promised any benefit for posting this review and have not been asked to write a review by anyone.

Summary: In my opinion, the results are very good and have achieved my realistic best-case expectations for the surgery. I plan to have additional similar procedures with Dr. Emer to continue the treatment plan.

I am in my late 50's and am actively staying fit and healthy. Due to my strict exercise and diet regime (as well as other factors), I have developed a very thin face which I accepted for several years as being a necessary aspect of my lifestyle. However, I decided there was something I could do to improve my facial appearance and over the course of several months began researching the best physician for this (geographic location was not important to me).

I came across Dr. Emer's patient reviews and videos and short listed him and a few others. After extensively reviewing all available information, I decided that Dr. Emer would (for me) be the best option.

I spent several weeks communicating with Dr. Emer and his staff (including a phone call directly with Dr. Emer), in particular the treatment options available to add volume to my face. He discussed several options which were subsequently set out in a customized treatment plan which was emailed to me. This included Renuva in the cheeks and temples and Radiesse for additional contouring. Ms. Minha Hong the treatment coordinator was very helpful and engaged throughout the planning and follow-up process.

The process at the clinic from start to finish was very efficient and professional. Dr. Emer was friendly and also very efficient and did not need to spend time deciding what to do - he knew what was needed and directly completed the task. One of the main reasons I had chosen Dr. Emer was that I wanted a "factory". This is not a negative but rather means that the physician has performed the procedure many times, does it the same way each time to get consistent results, knows what to expect from the final outcome and has likely learned and adjusted over time to get the best result. This was my hope and why I was very pleased with the process.

I communicated to Dr. Emer and his staff that I wanted the results to look natural and that's exactly what I got. I could definitely see that my appearance had improved although it was not apparent to others and as I had just gotten back from a holiday they thought it was just additional weight from eating a lot.

My follow up procedures will be additional Renuva or possibly Sculptra. I believe Renuva is a more natural product although where a lot of volume is required it will likely require additional procedures and expense. So this is the trade-off which each person must decide for oneself.
