I have had bags under my eyes for about 6 years. I've tried a lot of over the counter treatments. I've even done needling too. So after all Of these things failed, I decided I would try a filler. I researched quite a bit before choosing dr Linnell. I was scared and ready to walk out of the office. But she and her staff made me feel so comfortable. When she started the procedure it didn't even hurt. I'm just sorry I waited so long to have it done. My confidence is slowly coming back now. Thank you dr Linnell. I'm very happy with seeing my face back to the way it use to look.

Thanks for posting your experience and your photos! I'm glad you are happy with your results, you look great!

What made you decide to go with Belotero versus other fillers? Do you go back for touch-ups?

Keep us posted on your journey! Love to hear what your friends/family had to say!

I went went belotero filler because Dr Linnell explain that it's a lighter filler for the under eye area. And less chance of lumping and a more natural look. And less bruising.

All good reasons! So no lumps, I hope? And no bruising? How long does the belotero last?

I've had no lumping, no tenderness or pain. Very little bruising. Thank God! My doctor said it will last anywhere from 6 months to over a year. I'm praying for a year after researching and hearing other people's progress reports. I'm glad I did it.

Oh good, I'm so glad to hear that! It's such a tender area, under the eyes, so no pain is always a good thing.

What's next for you? You thinking about any other procedures or is this it for you for right now?

I just had belotero put under my eyes. It's been 5 days ,but they are still swollen and a bit black and blue? Is this normal

Yes, that's normal. My swelling lasted about 5 days and then it started going away. But I also went to my local Walgreens and purchased Arincare cream,it's for swelling and bruises. That seemed to help a lot. I also used ice under each eye for about a minute or two at a time.

The Belotero is a Hyaluronic Acid filler, when I read up on it the information said it will draw fluid to the area (bad for swelling, good for deep ridges). I had it done 5 days ago, some bruising under one eye & mild swelling that’s just about gone. I keep reading to give it time, but I don’t think my under eye areas look any different. A nurse I work with that does this type of cosmetic work as a second job didn’t think there was any improvement either. I go back in a week for something else, I plan on bringing this up.

Hi. I had bolotero 3 days ago. I really can't tell from your photos but I was wondering how bad your bruising was? I too had the injections under my eyes and I have a HUGE BLACK EYE now. I wasn't expecting it. I can't work or leave my house because of it!

My bruising was very small. You had to be right up on me to even see the bruises. But I went to my local Walgreens and purchased a cream called Arnicare which my doctor told me about and the swelling and bruises started going away even quicker.

I had belotero and hate it. I have terrible dark bags under my eyes. I looked way better before the fillers

I'm sorry that happened. But thank God I haven't had any issues with the Belotero. I pray it gets better for you.

I'm so sorry, I had developed some darkness under my eyes before I had the filler done. So I started using Nadinola fade cream and it slowly starting fading it away, I purchased it at my local Walmart. And just recently I ordered Piona skin bleaching cream from Amazon after reading the reviews up here about how it lightens your skin very quickly. Just received it yesterday in the mail. Wow! I only used it once and rest of the spots that I had is fading away. I would say give this product a try to see if it helps. I pray this helps a lot for all you've gone through.

I had the belotero two weeks ago AND I HATE IT!!!!! I had a black eye for 2 weeks and now I'm left with HORRIBLY wrinkled skin under that one eye! It's horrible! I'm not even 40 years old and I have under eye bags and wrinkles under ONE EYE! I feel horrible I wish I never had it done!
